Dach is still really young and we don't need NHL ready players rn, we need guys who we can build our franchise around once Kane and Toews are gone, also there has been rumors that the Canadians might not take Wright, so we could easily get Shane Wright at 2.

Going big with Blackhawks trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>I know but u don’t give 4 solid assets for him. I wouldn’t do Sanderson straight up tbh. Sanderson has #1D potential. Why would I do that now when I can wait a year and he can be just as valuable as Debrincat and don’t need to give up 3 extra 1sts on top. To me its ridiculous .
Even Formenton + Pinto + 7th overall I’d hesitate . That’s 3 cheap guys you plug in your lineup in the next few years that could be high impact</div></div>
Well I never said Sanderson, I do think it would be dumb to trade Sanderson, but we not gonna be giving up a preanal 40 goal scorer and ppg player for mid stuff bro, the Hawks would rather keep cat, its not like they HAVE to trade him. 7th a 2nd and Brown is a horrendous return for Debrincat in every aspect bro.

yes, it's a very late firs lol, the hawks can easily get the 2nd or 7th pick if they trade with the sens or devils, the fact you didn't include Holloway in this deal is insane, NO WAY the Oilers have close to a chance at cat without giving Holloway lmao.

it really isn't though, cat is only 24, a multiple time ppg player and 40 goal scorer if you agree on a contract, he can still be a part of your young core, not like he's 30 bro.

Bro why would the Hawks ever do this, Jones is a top 20-30 d man imo and can get better, no reason to trade him for Matt Murray, not close to enough for Kane either who is a guranteed ppg player, and hawks might want a prospect added like Pinto for the cat.

Post Torts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Frankcarp21</b></div><div>I really don't think Gaudreau or Forsberg leave, or I would've done one of them. Flyers ownership is incredibly desperate for a win of an offseason, so they're going to overpay for a big name. Definitely hate the price tag, but I do find it appealing to have a that center depth.
As for Ellis, if he's healthy, he's a real good dman. People hate on Risto an unreal amount, I think he's whatever. Not worth 5 mil, but I never thought he was as bad as all stats and people on the internet say.
Overall, a maybe wildcard team, but with the contracts that are already here, p much have to just go for it.</div></div>
Yeah, I just mean it is going to be an interesting and uncertain team. The d core is worry some if Ellis can be back good and if they others can perform, you need Hart to be good or it's going to be ugly, and while it may be good to have C depth, they are paying almost 30 mil just to their centers, and I don't think they paid Laughton that kind of money and term to be a 4th line center. I think it's a really bad decision for Philley to try and win now in a stacked East, but if do try and make win now moves, I think Palat, Nuch, Burakovsky, or maybe a sign and trade with Fiala would be good moves, while this is unlikley maybe they do something to get Necas off of Carolina like Caroliana did with Kotkaniemi.

Don't think Kadri makes much sense here. look how much money is down the middle, if they trade JVR I think they'd want a winger more, or maybe a defenseman, but they have Risto and Ellis. Man, Philley is in a bad situation rn lmao.

Left handed wingers are the last thing Minnesota needs:
Kaprizov
Zuccarello
Foligno
Greenway
Boldy</div></div>
Boldy and Zuccarello both play RW and I think Gaudreau is definitely better at Center, and I don't think Rossi is ready to fill that role just yet, but if Olofsson played with guys like Eriksson and Boldy he has a 50-point season MINIMUM.

why wouldn't they want Olofsson though? he's shown he can be a productive offensive player given the minutes and playing with good players, they get 3 draft picks and a replacement for a guy they clearly can't resign.
