Thread: Parayko
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Price_is_the_goat</b></div><div>for starters, he's 25, and signed on a very good contract for 4 more years. he's a 6'6 RHD who can score, move the puck, defend extremely well and play both special teams. if stl is retooling or rebuilding, he's the last guy you trade. on top of that, ur not giving anything of value back to stl. it will cost you Nylander for a dman like him. and again, no incentive for the blues to trade him, unlessssss ur getting like an elite starting goalie back lol, which is the blues biggest need</div></div>

It’s pointless to talk to you because you have no idea who the players are in the trade. Sandin a first and Johnsson are great pieces zaitsev is a perfectly capable 2nd pair rhd.

Parayko is only under contract for 3 more years. 24 goals in 270 games diesn’t make Him a goal scorer. Yes he is big and very well rounded and a great skater for his size... but his age? Sandin is 19, Johnsson is 24 and zaitsev is 27 so I don’t get that much art of your argument either.

I don’t think parayko gets moved because I think they would rather move Petro and slide parayko up to the first pair.

Your 1 star and in-depth analysis of the trade just shows you don’t know who Sandin is. Personally if I were making a trade for it arayko it would involve rasanen, kapanen and brown with a first and I would be looking for Parayko and kyrou back (really like kyrou and would like to see him do well in a good development program) the blues get back a bigger younger rhd (check off two of your trade issues) they get faster and a first. This works with our cap but could only be done after this season or possibly TDL.
