Cup in 2019-2020 (realistic) thoughts?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MeLeenyk_Out</b></div><div>Cup might a bit of a stretch but overall like the direction here, I really think Sikura and Schamltz are going to be guys who really surprise a lot of people this year. I would stay as far away from Sbisa as possible he hasn't looked good at all and doesn't come anywhere close to getting 3mil in my opinion. Overall, pretty solid.</div></div>
Yeah, my intention with sbisa was to have an experienced stay at home d man. I think defense needs that kind of guy to succeed. But if Sbisa, then hawks should find someone like hammer when he was at his best. Easier said than done but u got what i meant.

New era hawks. Thoughts?
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Subbanator7667</b></div><div>Even by 2020 the defensive core won’t be experienced enough to win a cup. Henri is Chicago’s closest prospect to being ready but Boqvist and Beaudin are still a whiles away.</div></div>
I dont think Boqvist is far away. He will be ready in 19-20 season and will put up 40+ points immediately. Remember that. Only thing he has to do is to add some muscle to his body and he's got great time to do that now and in London next season and then a very good summer next year. That's it. He will be ready in 19-20.

Why do you think seabs will get better? I think he just cant keep up with the speed anymore. That's the problem. But yeah, I really hope he could be a good top 4 D. If not, it's a huge problem.

RW Kaapo Kakko in 2019 Draft. Thoughts?
If he's not a top 3 pick that's gotta be obe heck of a draft class. Guy is a freakin beast. I live in Finland and have seen him play many times and I think he's better or at least as good as Laine and Barkov at the same age.

Hawks likely in October (Contender)
Canes already have Hamilton, Pesce, TVR on the right side so they dont really need Faulk anymore. Fleury and Bean will likely be ready too. If they want another cheap and good roster player, offer them Oesterle.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>NickC1988</b></div><div>I dunno if Toronto has any interest in Murphy. Plus, Hawks probably have to add more to Carolina.</div></div>
If not the Leafs, then somebody else. And I think hawks dont have to add more to that Hurricanes deal. Mitchell will be a top 4 D in NHL in 2-4 years and next years draft is expected to be very deep so 2nd round pick could bring Carolina another great future asset while hawks can afford to trade Mitchell cause they hava Jokiharju and Boqvist coming in about same time and are both also RHD.

No, it's not that simple. You dont have that much flexibility during season if u put him on LTIR now. It was also reported that moving Hossa contract is a top priority for the hawks during summer.

Is This Fair Hawks Fans?
Not a chance. In no way wouldn't we even give up on our other 1st round pick (NSH #27). Hossa and a third rounder + an ok prospect for a 6th round pick is closer.
