Ok lets go
Bruins probably don’t do this. They just gave up hienen for him, I’m guessing they would rather let him play and develop than trade him for smaller pieces

All excellent points, people really need to understand the importance of what value their players actually, and not just “ohhh I like my guy so I’m gonna get all these wonderful pieces for him”
Eichel is incredible, no doubt, but he’s on the block and wants out, and some of those teams do not need him.

I really didnt think this was an outlandish idea to people on an ACGM site. Literally HALF of a trade is the Team Needs, the other half is the value.
So fine whatever the value is IDC, but the leafs fans really offered Carlo for Kapanen, like what? Its mind boggling that so many people just want to argue on this website and not take constructive criticism
Either way, my point has been proven, people arent thinking about the Team Needs. So NO: Bruins will not trade Carlo to the leafs (or any team) unless they get back a top 6 forward</div></div>
Bro I watched all of that happen. It’s ridiculous. Whether the value of your trade here is good or not, I don’t care. The point is people don’t understand that the bruins aren’t giving up Carlo for a bunch of pieces they don’t need. It’s one thing for the sabres to give up Eichel (who wants out) for pieces (that are still worth a good amount). But this just doesn’t make sense.
You are right, and it’s crazy how many people just won’t listen

Definitely not overrating here. Leafs fans just think they can give up a guy they can’t afford to sign for a beast of a defenseman. That’s not how business works

This is akin to the Canes asking for Pastrnak and offering Pesce as the only compensation. Boston would rightly never consider doing that.
Hard no from the Leafs.</div></div>
This is a bad comparison. Pasta is significantly better than Nylnder, and Pesce is equal to or worse than Carlo. Take it from a nonbruins fan

Not Nylander LMAO maybe Alex.</div></div>
Dude just because you hate the bruins doesn’t mean you can call bruins fans biased when he is clearly working hard to not be biased (and oh yeah he actually does a really good job)
You aren’t getting Carlo unless it’s a bit of an overlay as the two parties are extremely happy with eachother

He isnt in their win frame. Grz and Zboril are bottom 4 defensemen on their team because they have Dahlin, Jokiharju, and Samuelsson who all figure to be solid players for them in their future</div></div>
Flip Krejci to a contender and retain for a good prospect (good GMing)
Give zboril nhl minutes (even if it’s bottom pair)
And give Griz top 4 minutes, great success (Dahlin, Joker, and Samuelson are only 3, that leaves space for a 4th)

Zboril can finally excel given the chance.
And krejci is literally and elite center (he makes player around him better, just watch him play) you seem to keep leaving him out

Does not have ideal size for the National Hockey League game, so he need to add bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize output at the highest level.</em>
<em>Two way centreman who leads by example with grit, giddy-up, and great team first gumption. His quick feet get him going and he deceptive slides into open seams looking for the puck. Well schooled and solid in his own end, and is calm and smart during the heat of the play. One of those scouting reports is on Studnicka and the other is on Cirelli.</div></div>
Precisely!
Stud is not as good as Cirelli (and <a href="/users/silkysmooth42" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@silkysmooth42</a> made that clear), but in terms of value BEFORE this past season, that is a perfect comparison.
