Oleksiak getting traded then?

I would try these lines next Monday
Like others have said I think it’s probably best if gally stays in the top 6, he plays good with good players around him. Maybe reunite the HEM line and put foligno with Tavares?
That second line did play very good last game though. Also not sure if they plan to take engvall or Thornton out of the lineup, I think it depends if they think foligno or spezza will play center.

we couldve done that
Hall is just not a fit on this team. He bring nothing we don’t already have. The top 6 is playing well and I would rather have a good defensive 3rd line than put hall there. Good trade for Boston but not worth it for the leafs imo.

Caps were in on Hall Bet they look to Rakell now
Ducks were asking for a first and a top prospect. Unless you think caps are moving mcmichael, probably should look elsewhere.

Hall to Boston trade
They didn’t even get the extra second. Sabres need to fire their front office at this point.

Rielly is playing well this year. Likely better then both, good depth for Boston.

I think the leafs are money in/money out at this point. It depends on Freddy but I think he’s coming back here.

We are going to get absolutely fleeced in this trade. All or nothing now I guess.

Can Someone Explain Why Mete is ON Waivers
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kotkaniemi15</b></div><div>I think the organization would rather play Leskinen/Ouellet, and losing him keeps Bergevin’s options open for tomorrow.</div></div>
Ya, maybe they go out and get someone else with the cap space remaining.

I don’t really understand. They have the cap space to keep him with Gallagher out.

Detroit can still take mete off waivers. They get the 5th and mete if they really want.

How far does this team of advanced stat darlings go
Shea Weber, Tyson Barrie and Keith Yandle are not advanced stat “darlings”. Instead their advanced stats are all pretty bad.
Solid team though, maybe second round.

Yikes, good for CBJ if they get a first from some team though.

These refs lol
I personally think we should play without the refs. The leafs power play is so bad anyway I would rather just not get any.

Laines Value
Laine probably doesn’t get traded unless it’s sizeable. They need a center, they likely ask for nico. Not worth it IMO.

SAVARD GOT TRADED
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Devil1122</b></div><div>If it's a first for Savard, im guessing it would have already been announcing. There may be some cap complications which could lead to the deal taking longer. Im guessing johnson is in the deal or a third team is retaining.
TB: Savard (50%)
Columbus: Johnson, 1st, 2nd
Or
TB: Savard (75%)
Detroit: 3rd or prospect for retaining half of Savards salary.
Columbus: 1st</div></div>
Johnson could be in the deal but that deal is likely rejected by CBJ or they’re getting fleeced. Savard costs a first and it costs another 1st + to trade Johnson.
I think if Johnson isn’t in the deal then stamkos is going to LTIR and they’re getting foligno too.
1st + Foote/barre-boulet for Savard + Foligno would be my guess. Just got to wait and see because I don’t think anyone really knows what the deal is going to end up being yet.

CBJ would get a first without taking Johnson. Highly doubt he’s in the deal.

Toronto is a possibility. The problem is the cap, they aren’t revealing anything about Freddie’s injury so I don’t know if they can fit him or not.

Ya, i didn’t really look at their cap situation. I think it would depend on if Seattle is interested in one of their bigger contracts (Oshie).

Oh now this makes sense. Leafs basically got him for free without using any cap space then. It sounds like CBJ just didn’t want to pay his salary.
