Getting past Round One
Whenever I log in on here periodically and see your name, I decide to click on it to see the absolute ass-disaster you've constructed. This one did not disappoint. I thank God every day that we have a competent GM in real life, and these are just nice little reminders of why.
You should probably find a new hobby or outlet.

Tavares signing, Niederreiter trade.
Nino had a down year and I think that makes this trade seem more feasible. In reality I don't think MN would take this trade even though the value isn't all that bad. Nino brings a lot with his game that doesn't show up on the stat sheet.

Who's the idiot now?</div></div>
I was using Brodin as a comparison for value, not saying lets trade Brodin. We should be keeping both, the focus on moving a D man is ******* stupid. If we're moving any d man, it should be Dumba because he will return a good offensive value most likely, whereas Spurgeon or Brodin would be pieces along with other players or picks. We could trade Dumba for a talented top 6 forward, we could not do the same with Brodin or Spurgeon outright. I stand by what I said, Bassman is an idiot, trading either player is short-sighted as hell. Me saying swap them does not = me saying LET'S TRADE BRODIN.
No one is an idiot except Bassman.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MNBassman</b></div><div>You need to work on your reading skills. I never said any of that. I have stated I AM CONCERNED about what happens when Spurgeon loses a step...which will happen, and when it does...he is done. He might very well play at his current level for 10 more years. Not many have a higher hockey IQ than he does...so if anyone can figure out how to maintain his play as he gets older, it will be Spurgeon. However, father time waits for no one, so...
Also, I think he's a terrific player...just not my favorite "type" of player. I prefer big, mean, and nasty d-men with good skill to small, finesse guys with crazy skills.
Anyways, if you are 10 years old, I apologize for the reading comment...</div></div>
You've made that comment on a few of the 100's of these that you make every day. It's funny because there is an absolute consensus among the Wild community that you're an utter moron. I am a little older than 10, but if that's what you need to tell yourself after being called out on your ****, good on you man. Whatever it takes for you to live with it.
Spurgeon's not losing a step any time soon. You've said in multiple other posts that he's one of the worst in the league. You can backtrack all you want, but the reality is Spurgeon should not be a trade piece because of how under valued he is by the rest of the league.
You can comment on my age all you want, it does nothing, you look even more like a rattled troll when you start pulling in the "you're 10 years old card". Kick rocks ya dustpan.

Honestly, that Bassman guy is ******* idiot. He think Spurgeon is going to lose a step at 29 years old. He also thinks he's one of the worst defenseman in the league. Either bassman is a really good troll, or he doesn't ACTUALLY watch Wild hockey. Truth be told, swapping Spurgeon for Brodin is more likely, and probably a more fair value for both teams.

Mock deadline 3
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gandalf_Noodles</b></div><div>I understand the desire to move the Ennis contract, but taking on Shaw's contract puts us in a much worse spot long term. it would be easier to try to move Ennis to a team with a lot of spare cap space that just need a roster spot filled. its only a one year deal so it won' hurt that team if they aren't trying to make any major moves at the deadline. Coyle obviously has struggled here but he's a player that could really excel with a change of scenery, kind of like Haula. So if you're going to move Coyle, i think it has to be for something more than making a team take Ennis, and then getting a tough Shaw contract in return.</div></div>
Check the changes now.

I like the Brodin trade, I do know there are a lot of Habs fans who are commanding Brodin + Coyle for chucky, but this seems more in line of what could really happen.

Craig Leipold seems to think we're only a couple pieces away, so unless Paul Fenton has free reign (which he probably wont) we won't see a shake up quite this drastic. Kind of an interesting thought with a shitload of picks moving forward though.

All three trades undervalue our players. RNH and Puljujarvi for Maybe Zucker + Brodin, but even then Pizza party is completely unproven so it becomes a massive risk. The fact you threw in Dubnyk and Spurgeon for practically a first and Zack Kassian just seems incredibly short sighted.
Dougie Hamilton is solid, but trading him for Granlund straight up gives Calgary a very sweet deal, we're not hurting for D men like Hamilton, we're hurting for forwards like Granlund.
Staal for a younger unproven D man and a pick could work. I don't think he wants to waive him modified NTC to go to Carolina, even if Jordan is there.

Since EVERYONE thinks they need Kessel
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>PenGoater99</b></div><div>Think about it this way. Coyle + Dumba = Kessel, and ZAR + 2019 3rd = Zucker's rights.
It's not overvaluing, it's making fair trades, know the difference</div></div>
Staal + Dumba potted 76 and 51 points respectively. Kessel potted 92. That's great for Kessel because it was one of his highest recent totals. Yet same thing with Staal and Dumba. ZAR is older than Dumba and Dumba's ceiling is WAY higher than ZAR's. Zucker's rights alone are worth ZAR + someone like Matta, look at his production and age. You're over valuing your players.
