Ottawa Senators signed Djibril Touré (3 Years / $805,000 AAV)

you're right there is and its 50 paid but teams have a 90 reserve list, and right now Sens are sitting at 65...\\\ according to C.F.

Did you see him as a 17 yr old turning 18? I can understand it, if you did. Then you waited and waited before signing him. Mr Toure played on a strong Sudbury team, its not like his teammates didn't help him with his point totals, see his previous seasons of playing hockey. If Sens would be planning on him being a stay at home project player, I can also understand that.... but why not look at the winning teams first? Peterborough, North Bay, Seattle, Kamloops, etc... ?? And how the frig did Sens miss on 2nd highest scoring player in the BCHL on winning club, to go for players who've just been introduced to OHL?

Ottawa Senators signed Jake Sanderson (8 Years / $8,050,000 AAV)
LOL ..... Sens don't know if Chychrun can play 69 or 70 games yet, forgetting completely about the playoffs... trying to instill confidence, they're going to have to reinforce D. They just gave monies away.

(PIT/MTL/SJS) - Granlund, Rutta, Petry, DeSmith, Légaré, 2024 1st (PIT), 2025 2nd (PIT) for Pitlick, Hoffman for Karlsson, Hamaliuk, 2026 3rd (SJS)
Montreal gets "players" from Pitts to allow pitts to get a 30 something year old dman to go with mid to late 30s forwards; San Jose lets a 30 something year old dman go to Pitts burgh but doesn't give up anything to Montreal to make this deal happen, only Pitts does - never gets a glimpse at Stanley with this dman combined with Burns etc.... expecting something different in Pitts? only time will tell, and for Pitts time isn't their friend. Closes a bad situation in San Jose, that only left bad taste in San Jose's mouth. And don't forget for Pitts, will require certain kind of defensive partner for offensive Karlsson.

Arizona Coyotes signed Logan Cooley (3 Years / $4,450,000 AAV)
I'm glad that Arizona selected Cooley and signed him, especially for their fans sake. However, I have to admit, I'm also happy that Coyotes went defensive in first round too. Potentially, selecting Benson or Perreault as linemates or teammates, might have left me a little unhappy.

(OTT/DET) - DeBrincat for Kubalik, Sebrango, 2024 4th (DET), 2024 1st (DET)
Salvage a disaster. The problem existed when you traded, got him, and didn't want to make him key component - you gave monies to Giroux and Stutzle. Shame on you. You want me to be happy because your division competitors dictate whether you can have Boston's 25 first round pick or Detroit's 2024 and your competitor who's trying for the same playoff spots get to decide.??? What a Joke.

Toronto Maple Leafs signed Dylan Gambrell (1 Year / $775,000 AAV)
Will the Sens miss him?? SENS won 11 regular time road games with him on their team out of 15 out of a possible 41, that's 27% win ratio. Sens had 20 regular time home game wins out of 24 out of a possible 41, 48.7%.

(VGK/PIT) - Smith for 2024 3rd (VGK)
Hardly guys. Smith was a 3rd liner from this last year. An original from expansion and now that they won everything their going to have to find a way to get young'er. Pittsburgh is still doing the same things with Dubas, trading draft pix for older players, trying to hold onto Crosby/Malkin. Problem is, they don't have a Jagr type to fill in, when Crosby turns 32-33 (3 years ago). Vegas clears 5 mil for a 3rd liner. See Barbashev's partial year performance.

I'd be wondering whether NJD would be willing to trade McLeod? Seeing as their giving monies away to wingers like this, its McLeod's turn. I know they left you dude, but Mr McLeod consider Otts as a full time home, just consider.

Does it really matter whether the Canadiens or the Avs win this trade? I mean the first round pick used as trade bait, besides Newhook, was Florida's, the first of many to come. Florida improved Montreal, and Avs. Go Sakic!!!

(WPG/LAK) - Dubois for Iafallo, Kupari, Vilardi, 2024 2nd (MTL)
i was waiting and waiting and waiting for them to play. But LAK only needed so few right handed shooters. last year, they only had 1 right shooter on the entire top, for a period of time, Arvidsson.

Columbus is overstocked on Defensemen so what do they do, they bring in more. Alright. okay, including Bean and Werenski on 82.5, they have 33%+ of their salary on defense. Alright, so now Columbus' young D don't play anytime in the future, ex Svozil, Jiricek, Mateychuk, Ceulemans, etc. I mean fist round picks wanna' play. See Buff's defense. I'm guessing their wanting to be trades as of yesterday. Columbus lost a first round pick for Gavrikov and Korpisalo, and Quick; retaining the 3rd round pick and 7 round pick and Hutchinson; LAK stripped you of your charms, Philly took your experience; Essentially nothing to show for Korpisalo and Gavrikov, right. I'm looking at those young dmen out of Columbus' farms, of course, because theres no chance of getting to the next level.
