(SJS/OTT) - Kopacka and 7th for Jaros
i picked Otts. Now here's why, Ott has a number of younger top ended defensive talent: Sanderson, Kleven, Bernard-Docker, Tychonick, besides Thomson, Brannstrom, etc. Jaros was not playing alot of time, no joke. And in return, you get a W/C who in the midst of "bikini-land" has the presence to be able to find the net. He's moving closer to home, Belleville and Otts should be pretty good for him. If Jaro's a benefit to San Jose then all the better.

(CBJ/WPG) - Dubois and 3rd for Laine, Roslovic
I posted Wpeg won the trade, but you won't know for a year. Would you have traded Roslovic for Dubois If Laine doesn't sign... When Laine's worth falls because of high demands, then what?

its for the team... if He doesn't perform, buyout options. Not so good if you're Barzal.

Ottawa Senators signed Alex Galchenyuk (1 Year / $1,050,000 AAV)
Its a cheap signing is what it is. That's good. BUT when is Pinto brought up? What about Norris being in the lineup? These two, especially Norris, should have spots assigned to them not the same constant garbage thats chucked from other teams. You've delayed your elevating the juniors, WHAT THE FRIG IS UP??? I haven't even mentioned the elevating of Bernard-Docker, Tychonick, etc on defence. Etc equals Thomson, etc.

I thought this was the same team that traded to get more draft picks at junior time ?? Was that simply for the fulfillment of the Ego of Mr Dubas? He's not playing with peoples' lives is he? I mean he surely has cap room to sign juniors right?

St. Louis Blues signed Torey Krug (7 Years / $6,500,000 AAV)
The Blues its an aeesome signing. But the player, well presuming escrow is 15% with no sign bonuses, he changed teams for an increase of $275K. How many teams would have offered Krug his contract with sign bonus?

So essentially u value a 1st round pick and prospect at only 1.9 mil ? Did u forget where Pastrnak was selected at?

ANAHEIM all day. Backes contract is given away except for 1.5; Kase's contract 2.6 mil; Boston valued prospect and 1st round @ 1.9 mil. They forgot where Pastrnak was drafted at.

This contract is another contract where Dubas/Leafs don't care about % of Cap Hit. Do the math and remember u have to use 81.5.

(MIN/PIT) - Zucker for Galchenyuk, Addison, 2020 1st round pick
Depends on Mr Zucker... his current season is above career average BUT 1st round pick and 2nd round right shooting D Man who the last time I looked had 203 points in 238 WHL games. Galchenyuk is having crappy season.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>AndrewLadd</b></div><div>Not sure what this has to do with Nurse but his cap hit in the AHL is $4,425,000</div></div>
Bear with me, there's no diff in cap hit between mjrs n minors for Ladd. We don't know if Nurse pulls a Labanc to stick around, or portion thereof. It's not a Toronto contract nor anywhere near the max % of cap hit he could have commanded... Holland did good by buying himself time, not good in that he over spent %.

Edmonton Oilers signed Darnell Nurse (2 Years / $5,600,000 AAV)
It's a bad contract first off as the valuation is based on 81.5 making payout higher than % of cap hit. 2nd if Sal cap goes down not up that % of cap hit looks even more outta balance. The length/time period irrelevant to me if player doesn't want to leave Edm anyways and wants to be part of growth... don't forget they have Bouchard, etc coming along.
