You could move Tavares to the wing and run Wennberg as #2 center
Also in the ducks trade I think you could get a pick or two back

True but Vegas helps out their goaltender way more than we do but maybe if a different coach is used that might change

Obviously it's a no it's only a dream, Winnipeg gm would be banned from the city if he did that

Toronto only has 700k left to pay kerfoot so it's not alot

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jake4leafs</b></div><div>its the opposite, his value is probably at his lowest since most teams are cap stranded af and he has a no trade clause, that being said the leafs dont seem to be in a rush to trade him. hes a player keefe and dubas clearly like and count on</div></div>
I hope they resign him but I doubt it happens

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>yycofred</b></div><div>Agreed, 100%, they're not everything but when you look at the trends in some of those numbers it's not necessarily what a team would spend good assets on to acquire. He's a good middle 6 winger no one is doubting that. His value is at his highest it will ever be right now and I don't think a lot of teams will want to buy on the sell high candidate. As I mentioned to the other guy you could argue his points popped off cause of his line mates, just as his possession has declined because of his matchups./</div></div>
His points probably wouldn't be as high playing with Kadri and Toffoli but how many would he get with those 2, I know Sutter is putting Toffoli on line 1 but he hasn't be meshing well with Lindholm so I think mangiapine will be first line

He's gotten consistently worse in his extended metrics year over year. Sutter can be old school but he's always preached how important possession numbers are to him.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>yycofred</b></div><div>Kerfoot is a fine middle 6 piece but all the numbers that Sutter emphasizes in terms of possession Kerfoot is coming of his worst season as a pro. Toronto has minimal leverage in a deal and no one is giving up good NHL pieces for him.</div></div>
Lots of contending teams would give up a decent amount for a player like kerfoot
