Upgrading the team without trading this years first rounder
I actually find it really hard to decide what he’s worth, frankly I think he’s an under achieving player making 5 and change and probably is an over pay but ya valid point, what do you see him being worth?

Signing Kane is hard
Sens will never do that deal they don’t need picks and they certainly don’t need Kassian

What gets it done? Another first or another higher end prospect ?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>capfriendlyaccount</b></div><div>Some of this is reasonable but that's a major overpay for Copp (and Norris as well)</div></div>
Going to be hard to upgrade the top 6 without an overpay but I definitely don’t disagree with that now on the Norris front he’s pro rated at 40 goals healthy and frankly ya might be a bit of an over pay but doubt “bridge” would be less than 5 considering like I just said there’s no way he doesn’t score 40 if he plays all year, frankly I think him at 8x9 could be an extremely good deal if he’s 35+ goals for the rest of his career. Definitely better options than copp on trade market but also have to keep in mind the Cap will be going up after next season.

Copp is overpaid and there is no way he isn't resigning in NY with the end of his season. Over pay for Meier, and I wouldn't pass on Gus yet.</div></div>

If you are gonna spend ur entire time going thru people’s teams and bashing them you might want to actually get educated because this is not an over pay in the slightest and prospects are prospects for a reason and not everyone is going to pan out and this team needs to get good pros around these young guys and not a bunch of Zaitevs, Tiernys, Browns, Gaudette etc. Clock is ticking on these young guys.

Stanley Cup Contenders
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Xspyrit</b></div><div>Is is not a great forward group?
Tkachuk (22 y/o) : 29 goals 61 pts pace this season
Norris (22 y/o) : 38 goals in his last 74 games (42 goals per 82 games)
It kills me that they think this team isn’t good hahaha also that d core but appreciate the back up dude! They won’t be so opinionated when this team is an absolute powerhouse in less then 3 years and those trades are all more than fair and the value Sens are giving up is not bad at all
Fiala (25 y/o) : 28 goals 76 pts pace this season
Konecny (25 y/o) : 56 pts pace this season
Stützle (20 y/o) : 16 pts in his last 20 games, 50 pts pace overall
Batherson (23 y/o) : 35 pts in 32 games this season
Crouse (24 y/o) : 26 goals pace this season
Pinto (21 y/o) : couldn't prove himself this season due to injury but future 2-way beast center
Brown (28 y/o) : 59 pts pace this season
Formenton (22 y/o) : 25 pts in last 45 games (46 pts pace)
Joseph (25 y/o) : 26 pts pace this season
I mean Joseph and Pinto are the only guys who don't have top-6 like numbers. That's 9 guys who could do some serious damage, particularly if Batherson is healthy all season and Stutzle breaks out.
These posts are the exact reason why I keep coming back! The dopamine is too good
2022 1st round pick (OTT) : that pick is 4th OVERALL at the moment...
Järventie, Roby : recent early 2nd round pick, has been doing pretty well for a teenager in pro leagues
2024 4th round pick (TBL) : pick
Watson, Austin : decent 4th liner, 1 year left at 1.5 AAV (but let's say he has no value, not a cap dump though)
So please tell us how much Konecny is worth.</div></div>

Lives yards away from CTC, has made more than enough money to take a pay cut especially if he wins a cup in Florida, sooner than later he will be coming home to play with this group of soon to be stars.
