Boston OEL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Gofnut999</b></div><div>That will never happen. Leaves a gaping hole at LW2 and RD2 and not enough cap space to fix it.
Contending teams don’t trade key players from their nucleus, they trade futures. This does not make them better.</div></div>
Take Carlo out Vaakanianen

But. 1st in 21, Urho, 3rd piece (Bjork/Ritchie). They take Moore.</div></div>
That’s not getting you Oliver if the coyotes don’t get both Debrusk and Carlo from Boston then the trade is a major colossal loss for the Coyotes

Coyotes owe Oliver 39M over the next 4 years not 48M and we have 35M in cap space for next season and thats if we dont move anyone

its not a do or die situation if they don't move Oliver , also Ericsson + 1M retainment while getting a low value asset back saves the Coyotes almost not money for the next 3 years and they lose a top pairing defense for pennies on the dollar

Oliver
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Isles777</b></div><div>That is insane if they get that much for him. OEL is overpaid and on the decline</div></div>
His skills are not on the decline , his 5 on 5 stats were good last season while his power play production fell of a cliff and for some reason he was very good on the road and very poor at home if he gets traded to Boston or Vancouver he is going to have a offensive resurgence

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Timmah007</b></div><div>That would be the most value able thing OEL can do for oilers... very good player but adding him terrifies me.</div></div>
As a yotes fan I would keep Oliver , its not worth trading a Top pairing defensemen for below market value , Oliver will bounce back as his 5 on 5 stats production was good this season while his power play number were terrible and for some reason he didnt produce at all on home ice while producing at a 55 point pace on the road and those things are fixable

Playoffs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cory0923</b></div><div>Fair enough. What would you consider an overpayment?</div></div>
His reported market value is a 1st round pick and two smaller assets like a prospect or extra mid round draft picks but that was before the Coyotes GM came out and said he really likes Kuemper and its gonna take a lot to move him so im not sure exactly but i would think a 1st round pick , decent younger roster player , and a prospect/pick

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ritzy</b></div><div>How do they have three goalies? Kuemper would be coming to the Leafs.
In any case, everyone says no. Ottawa won't want to move Tkachuk let alone add a top 5 pick.</div></div>
Because that means Andersen , Raanta , and Adin Hill who is ready for a backup role and yotes signed him to a one way contract

OTT - ARZ CAP SPACE TRADE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>clapperzzz11</b></div><div>I don't think you have to pay that price, because ARI need to create space, they don't have any choice to make moves.
Kuemper is good, but not sure he's a 55 games goalie.
OEL has a good reputation so far... but Brannstrom, 1st and 3rd is a lot.
So take out Kuemper, Gustafsson and 2x2nd of this deal and it's a done deal</div></div>
Kuemper played 55 games in 18/19 and most goalies now a days are starting 40-50 games

Oliver Ekman Larsson
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>major_hassle</b></div><div>I'll disagree and agree with you: OEL is not worth 8.25 million a year now, and he certainly won't be by the end of his contract. I agree he's worth more than replacement level, but for any team to take his high AAV, long contract is a substantial risk and is probably not worth it for either side. In this sense, I agree with you: arizona shouldn't trade OEL, and nobody should pay arizona assets to take him.</div></div>
No this isnt my opinion this simple the general opinions of the 8 scouts and league executives that were interviewed and what funny is that 8 guys also generally said that teams should be lining up to acquire OEL regardless of the contract as it will most certainly revive his offense and defense

nah Keller is 4 years younger , being paid 1M less and still hasnt fully developed and has the potential to be a First line producing winger , Trouba has pretty much capped out as a good top 4 dman that in his best year can put up 50 points

hmmmm
Coyotes trade makes no sense , one the Coyotes dont have the 2020 2nd round pick , two Marian Hossa isn't getting moved as he can be placed on LTIR and the Coyotes give him 200K as insurance cover the rest , and Three Kuemper isnt a "extra goalie" LMAO He's been a Top 5 Goalie in the league for the past couple seasons and the Bill Armstrong came out and said he likes Kuemper an isnt moving him unless a team massively over pays for him
