Islanders are looking for D after they get a goalie. But they wouldn’t turn down a trade that included patches. He’d have to come cheap. Retained salary. But they have some peices they could offer. They could include brock nelson and dal colle. A conditional first if the islanders end up winning the cup. If they don’t win then it’s a second. And they’d chip in another second if you guys include paul byron

From there, you only need a real solid 3C and moce Cizikas back to the 4th line. Plekanec would be great addition and is perfect in this role with little scoring and expiring contract.
Since you've healthy scratched Beauvillier, would you do Pleky (1/2 salary) for him?</div></div>
Beau for plekanek? No thanks.

Creative! Which is what the islanders need to be anout their goalie and defence issues if they want a legitimate shot at the cup. This is a good trade

Anaheim ducks fans will be cheering in the streets! Boston doesn’t take that trade so reaves will be sadboi in the minors. Pittsburgh must have been drunk and stonned to trade a 1st and sundqvist for an enforcer when fighting and players who can’t do anything but fight are naturally starting to not be a part of the game

Plus soderstrom has a sub .900 save % for his team this year and hasn’t played more than half of their games. He has the lowest save % on that team. He’s expendable. Dansk has been bretty consistent. Obviously I don’t think reinhart has value which is why in my description i said that i am adding him to balance out positions for vegas. The trade is essentially pulock for dansk.

When i seen an oilers trade for karlsson i thought it would be terrible but this is actually pretty good. You might even argue that Ottawa is getting a better deal than Edmonton is

Barzal is more valuable to the islanders than karlson</div></div>
Hes good now but when his contract is up in two years he will start to decline and will still get a huge contract. Barzal could be the isles #1 center next year if tavares leaves. Losing both of them would be devastating to the isles and would mean that they wouldn’t make the playoffs for years to come, whether karlsson is there or not. So Barzal is definitely more important to the isles in the long term than karlsson would be. Barzal is the reAl deal. Watch him play and you will agree. Plus karlsons foot is fucked now. This is a good deal for both teams. Ho sang has tonnes of potential, same with pulock. 1 1st 2 2nds 1 3rd and a player who still has potential in dal colle is a good return for a karlson right now. If Ottawa waits till next year they will not get this return.
This has got to be one of the most idiotic things I've read on here. Karlsson is a top 5 NHL player ffs, he instantly becomes the best player on any team he gets traded too. Aside from PIT and EDM.</div></div>

Contract up next year when karlsson is 29. He will want long term. Not worth it to the isles to gove up someone who might serve as their #1 center next year if tavares leaves. Barzal is the real deal. This kid is an allstar

no it doesn't. they don't risk barzal for a player who could leave them in two years. especially with the risk of tavares leaving in the offseason

They have reto bera, plus halak and seidenberg are off the books next year which frees up 5.25 million. Gibson is a reliable starter and berra or halak would both be adequate as backups to him. Halak isn’t the main part of this trade for anaheim. The second and third plus the clearing of cap space at the end of the year are the main parts

all i know is that subban and khudobin need to go and we need to let mcintyre have the starting job in providence for the rest of this year and have vladar back him up. we need to find a legitimate back up for the rest of the year aswell. khudobin, subban and mcintyre have a combined 1 win in boston this year. we can't keep giving up losses because of our backups

idk how much boston likes this trade berube is unproven and we'd still have to find something to do with khudobin. also dehaan would push out one of our young guys on d. also makes this years draft look pretty shitty for the iles. might aswell not even include draft picks in the arizona deal. spooner would probably get more of a return from another team anyway
