Lindholm gets way more then 6 mill
Columbus easily says no, Gallagher is terrible now.
Bruins don’t need any more LHD unless they are bonafide top 4 skill level

Carolina won’t have 5 mill to give pesce post guentzel/ Jarvis/ Necas extensions unless they want to fill their bottom 6 and bottom pair on league minimums

Helps your cap though.
Necas/ Jarvis/ guentzel/ skjei/ pesce/ teuvo/ Chatfield all FA.
I’d expect they want to keep guentzel for sure. Jarvis may go on a bridge deal but not an overly cheap one he’s been a top 3-4 forward for the last 2 seasons for you guys probably 5.5 mill minimum.
You guys will loose a lot of depth but atleast getting holtz to replace necas gives you guys lots of cap to retain some depth.
Holtz still has a high ceiling NJ just screwing him over right now, necas took a similar route in development before really breaking out last season

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>Reinhart doesn't play center also it will take more than that to pry him out of Florida. I bet he extends</div></div>
Reinhart has took over 300 draws in the last 3 seasons.
Also florida has cap but not enough to bring back Reinhart/ montour and Lundell.
I doubt anyone takes knight until he shows flashes of his potential again. Bobrovsky is an unmoveable contract.
Moving Ekblad wouldn’t be smart.
If they sign all 3 ( Reinhart 9-9.5, Montour 6.5-7.5, Lundell 3-3.5) they have about 4 mill to fill 2 dman spots a whole 4th line and 1 3rd liner.
Even assuming sourdif and mackie make the roster on their ELC’s that would still leave them with having to fill 4 spots at less then nhl minimum

Offseason problem solving
Gotta think bruins consider. Husso at 2.75 mill isn’t terrible could retain again and move.
Maybe Detroit adds a 3rd or conditional 2nd.
Walman though would be great next to Carlo or mcavoy, good shot blocker and has a hell of a shot something we have lacked since Krug and chara have left.
6’2” 220 is nice aswell.
He’s on a nice stop gap contract for Lohrei to take over a top 4 role.
I’d be happy with a defence next season of
Walman-Mcavoy
Lindholm- Carlo
Lohrei- Peeke
Wotherspoon

Pass to much bad blood. Marchand and debrusk will kill him first day of practice after all the cheap stuff he pulled on them in the past.
Plus cap hit isn’t the issue the term is terrible and kadris gritty style of play doesn’t project well long term

Why would you trade your version of an “identity line”?
You may have improved offensively but your defence and physicality is significantly worse.
Martinook-Staal-Fast always ends up being a key x-factor line in PO’s they score greasy goals and shutdown teams best lines

Guentzel to nucks lindholm boston
Boston isn’t paying no premium for lindholm.
32 points in 49 games in Calgary
6 points in 15 games in Vancouver
Buddy went to a way better team and somehow decreased his production, Van will be selling low.
I’d say bruins at most give up either
25 1st+ Lysell ( hard maybe)
25 1st+ Merkulov+ 26 3rd maybe another lower tier prospect.
Vancouver will once again be paying the premium to acquire guentzel now.
I bet Pitsburgh gets some thing like.
Hoglander+ Merkulov+ 25 1st (Bos)+ one of Vancouvers mid tier prospect.
Bos gets Lindholm
Van gets Guentzel + Bruins 26 3rd.
Bruins would need retention somewhere in there or to move cap ( Forbort/Grzelcyk/Debrusk)

Bruins aren’t moving poitras. Geekie I’d be wary on too he’s played very well for us.
Only better players/prospects and picks I’d consider using on lindholm
Especially since he hasn’t produced well offensively in Calgary or Van are
25 1st/ 26 2nd/ Debrusk/ Beecher/ Merkulov

Arguably more. Petey is good defensively zegras is bottom of the league and Petey is twice the offensive threat zegras is, zegras is just flashy

Hanifin has already declined contract offers and stated he is leaving and wants to be traded, flames aint stripping any team of a bunch of picks and prospects, that’s probably why a trade hasn’t gone through yet.
Remember the Taylor hall trade?

Bruins would need to move cap so grzelcyk would have to go back.
Wouldn’t mind pettersson, been shutdown defensively.
From having to cover for karlsson to help carry with mcavoy would surely do lots for him. Could be a gross top pair

Rather have Wotherspoon/ Lohrei over him.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>Yes exactly</div></div>
In my opinion parekh isn’t a good fit he’s a very offensive minded dman, ottawas need another RHD similar in play style to Zub.
If you can’t get levushnov
I’d hold off and trade down for 1 of
Jiricek/ Elick/ Emery who provide a stronger and more physical defensive presence.
I don’t think parekh or yakemchuk will help solve ottawas defensive struggles
