Puljujarvi is pretty underrated imo. His point total may not show it but he is an amazing 2 way player. Honestly, this might even be an underpayment.

Honestly the only reason I did that trade is because of the rumors that neither of them will be qualified, so I just did it so that each team gets value out of it instead of just letting them walk to ufa. But yeah, if they are getting qualified, I probably don’t do this trade.

Habs were interested in him at the deadline, and they only have 3 forwards with a higher market value than him (via The Athletic). He could def be a solid 2nd line piece in Montreal.
