Dzingel easily could play with Toews and Saad. He has top notch speed and skill look at his numbers. Mitchell is ready for the pros hawks will sign him this summer. Barratt could make the team depending if he goes back to school. Kurashev needs ag least one more year

Keeping anisimov for at least one more year will help Panarin feel even more comfortable with signing with the hawks again and help recreate that special line with Kane. Also hawks dont have great center depth so Anisimov can hold down the fort untill at least Jake Wise comes in the year after.

There's many ways to make everything work. After 2020 Crawford's deal is up and will most likely take a discount. Staal's contract is one year so 4.5 million goes away and Jake Wise would fill in at 3C in 2021. Hawks could also trade saad which would leave plenty of money for DeBrincat. Hawks are in a good spot.

The Kane line is the number one line and he would want to play with him. They would still be able to sign schmaltz and cat as the cap will rise every year. The Hawks window is closing and this is the best solution to win now. They have the cap space so why not do it, it works.

Center is our weakness right now and Nugent-hopkins would be a great add. Face-offs, PK, and can score. We have no third line center next year.<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawks34</b></div><div>why are we paying RNH 6m a year to be a 3C....... hawks need to trade anisimov and get a top 6 RW. a 3C shouldn;t get more than 3m a year.</div></div>

What would you sign Kovy too then? He's a preliminary goal scorer and the term is only 2 years. Strome would breakout next to buddy Debrincat trust me

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>exo2769</b></div><div>I 100% disagree. If in Sept. 2019 we don't get a compliance buyout...then you trade him. Everyone trashes on him anyways...maybe rightfully so. I'm not here saying he's back, but to give up meaningful assets right now to just to possibly wait 1 year. it's short sighted at best...ESPECIALLY if the cap is going up to $80M AND we should be able to trade Hossa much easier. It's just 1 year, then trade him.
I'm for Carlson. He'd drive the PP and would allow Keith to focus his minutes @ 5V5. His signing could have nice ripple effects to the whole team. With that said Dumouliln???? Why do the Hawks want $30M in cap hit for their Dmen? That's way too much money. Every team has to trust their young talent at some point. Keep Forsling, see what Rutta wants. Sign Henri and maybe Chad Krys. just too much money on D.</div></div>

Realistically could work
It’s more likely than not I’ve included Ryan Hartman who was a first round pick and has a ton of value. Also included a second round pick that at least some teams will consider looking at

You get balance throughout each line which is why this is special. Debrincat is better suited for LW than RW so playing with Kane is an advantage.

They are not 'in case of emergency' they are quality prospects that can play in the NHL now. Hawks have too much depth to play them and it's also a second round pick for a rental

I understand but that is why I put in a highly rated young player in nick schmaltz to ease the pain of the contract.
