Real Tight Next Year
Kane would be easily more valuable to the team than a fourth liner in paul. Kane is a must resign by the team this offseason

jets
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>jimmyjets</b></div><div>I don't think that signing a D is a need as we can just keep Schmidt on the right and plug both Samberg and Heinola in with Stanley as the 7th and Kovacevich as the 8th
In terms of the trade I don't think that the Jets would be targeting Yammamoto just because when we play the Oilers I notice that we intentionally go out of our way to beat him up physically because he quits on the game when you do that. Having that intel in our back pocket means that we likely have no interest in adding that player. But I do think moving Dillon is a real possibility. Something's got to give although both Samberg and Heinola are both waivers exempt next year as well so we could just keep Dillon for one more go at it with a new coach if we turn things around at the end of the year here.</div></div>
I watch every game he plays and he gets hit hard all the time, never quits the game tho so I'm not sure where you got that from. Theres a reason he's called the honey badger lol

Theres a couple standouts, I can't wait for Rookie oilers dman Markus Niemelainen to get up to top 30. Kid has 82 hits in 17 games and has the Highest H/G in nhl history

There is no way Chychrun is worth a top 3 pick. Either the St Louis or Calgary pick. The best of the 2 would go to Arizona</div></div>
a top 10 dman on a wicked contract whos still young is definitely worth that. He basically becomes the habs franchise dman

What about this
Let's hope tip keeps McDrai seperate. I get the chem but it's better to have multiple good lines instead of stacking the top one with Mcdavid and Drai. I think Kane is the perfect guy to have on Mcdavids line, a gritty, speedy, sniper who won't hesitate to drop the mitts or throw a huge hit. I can see him as a bodyguard for Mcdavid kinda like what Kass was supposed to be except Kanes just elite.

Trying to save our season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Docdave</b></div><div>Ya sure Schenn heard ya with them rings plugging his ears ...a fringe player on a two time Cup winner who happens to bring toughness n hitting is a fair trade for yamo who looks like another version yak ...skills but overmatched</div></div>
Yamo is billions of times better than Yak. Hes been going insane the last stretch of games and I think he's finding his groove again. As a oilers fan he does so much off the puck (defensively, driving plays, taking pucks off of guys) that makes him valuable to the team. Only trade I'd have him in is like Gibson or Chychrun
