St. Louis Blues signed Tyler Pitlick (1 Year / $750,000 AAV)
Montreal no longer holds rights over every Pitlick
Shame really, would've loved to see a Stall brothers situation
Ah well, good sign by the blues

Winnipeg Jets signed Brad Lambert (3 Years / $1,168,333 AAV)
Kids gonna be good, he's definitely got the talent, it's only a question of when he's going to enter the league
For my money, he probably spends a year with Manitoba, but he could join early

Vegas keeping a young player??

Bit cheaper than expected, but longer term
That sounds fair to me

Montreal Canadiens signed Logan Mailloux (3 Years / $902,500 AAV)
y'know Ive got a feeling that this is going to stay as a toxic pool of arguments for a long time to come
please stay on topic, all, and be halfway decent people too
and remember, no one is going to change their mind by being called a moron

Thread:
Montreal Canadiens signed Logan Mailloux (3 Years / $902,500 AAV)
I'll throw in my two cents, I understand what he did and that it isn't acceptable
But that's in the past, it's done. He went to court and he did his civic duty and whatnot
Now we treat him as a hockey player, not an issue to discuss
That being said, he probably needs some time to develop, so we'll have to see how this pick turns out but for now
Good sign, former first rounder signed for 2 way max is fair

New York Islanders signed Mathew Barzal (8 Years / $9,150,000 AAV)
thats definitely an expensive contract, but if Barzal can take that next step this may look good
thats the problem though, how will he develop in the new system?

Wack.
Why over 4mil? Over 2-3 mil was overpriced, he hasn't proven himself at all
Bob already is wildly overpaid, adding another goalie to the overpay list isn't helping

You can't blame a guy for going for the bag
NHL players dont make as much as other leagues, so many players dont actually make a ton, and definitely not enough for a long retirement
