Could this work
If Dumo was a RD it'd be an easy yes but Wings are pretty set on the left side with Chairot, Maatta, Walman, Edvinsson

Coming Back
Backwards, you'd have to pay Detroit for them to take Eller. And it'd have to be better than a late rd pick

They'd have a much better chance of squeaking in if they replace Lindstrom with a competent RD asap, waiting until the deadline won't help obviously

I actually like Schenn to Detroit to take over for the totally overmatched Gustav Lindstrom on the 3rd pair but Wings wouldn't give up that much for a 33 year old. I'd do a 3rd + 5th or something like that

Wings pass, they'll just keep Sunny and try to resign him if they can't get a 2nd. He'll likely have a few contenders vying for his services so getting a 2nd is plausible

Would Detroit make this swap
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>aadoyle</b></div><div>I dont know where u thought that but everything u said on Robertson is pretty bad. Hes 21 and still growing. Hes not a fringe NHLer at all only reason hes not in night in and out is the guys he needs to beat out are on our PK. Until he learns to do so its not gonna be easy but with Jarnkrok out hes gonna have a chance to play
Meanwhile Rasmussen is 23 soon becoming 24 in April whose a 4c and drafted to high sure hes big but nothing really special. Kampf is doing all that already
So this would be a losing trade for Toronto as Rasmussen's ceiling is 4 maybe 3c while Robertson's is top 6 scoring winger. So asking for a 1st for him would basically be like Kerfoot being worth a 1st lul</div></div>
The trade does nothing for Detroit except make them weaker at a position they don't have much depth at. Ras isn't great but been playing better since the 2nd half of last year. He'll never be a huge point producer but decent in a bottom 6 role and cheap. Detroit is already stocked with top 6 wingers (when healthy) and there really wouldn't be room for Robertson to play for the foreseeable future. 21 isn't exactly that young for an NHL player these days, majority of players who haven't established themselves by around 22 usually end up as tweeners

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GMBL</b></div><div>It's not a ridiculous take, I'm agreeing that Detroit keeps Seider but <em><strong>IF</strong></em> they were to trade him, it would be for something like that. If my analysis is way off base then bring your counterpoints and also let me know what kind of package would Detroit consider in your opinion IF they were trading Seider.
I'm not undervaluing Seider or Bertuzzi at all. You guys just expect Yzerman to get someone to overpay for Bertuzzi, which could happen but it would be an overpay.
This trade is essential Marner for Seider 1 for 1 and the other guys are just there to offset the trade. If Seider is the 6th best defender in the League, he's not in the top 20 players, if Marner is the 6th best winger he could be.</div></div>
Seider will be one of the best D in the league in a couple more years. Marner will be a pending free agent

Detroit doesn't even consider it. Almost like you forgot Detroit is a young, building team and trading their best young player for an 11M F with less than 3 years term left when Detroit isn't even in win now mode would be the dumbest thing ever

Red Wings Projected Lines
Doubt Wings would waive Givani to keep Austin Czarnik. Givani is a rarer commodity, can be punishing to play against, good fighter, and has a tad of skill. Guys like Czarnik are a dime a dozen.
Soderblom probably spends the year in Grand Rapids, he's very promising but needs some refinement. Berggren been the best of the young prospects, he's likely on the opening night roster

Too much for Hague, we could just offer sheet him for 4M and give up the 2nd and Vegas doesn't have cap to match</div></div>
Petry really isn't that bad, he'd be a good vet to have on a very young blueline. If he can be had for cheap I think it makes sense.
Vegas could also match and find another way to create space. GM's just never use offer sheets unless it's out of spite. Lindstrom doesn't really hold much value and wouldn't have a path to playing time on this roster, not that he would on Vegas either. Adding an extra 3rd isn't a dealbreaker for me but whatevs
