I am not sure what is going on but I read in 31 thoughts that he wants 8aav. From personal experience Nurse will likely sign a ~6@6.5-7 based on his ask, so keep that in mind.</div></div>
Well, its kinda different Nurse can ask for whatever he wants and Holland will trade his ass if its more than 6. Not like in Toronto where that GM has caved to the demands of literally every one of Nylander Marner and Matthews.

Nurse would be the best LD in Montreal and it wouldn't be remotely close.

I think it’s the Oilers that are less likely to do it. JVR making 7mil till his 35 is terrifying.

Two pretty reasonable deals. Don’t know if Ennis is viable on the third line but he’s cheaper than Khaira and a 4th isn’t overly steep price to give him a try/get rid of Khaira.
Seems like it might be a lot to give up for Kunin but if he solves our 3C problem with and ELC contract it’s hard not to like what he brings, I’m also not a big believer in Samorukov, but I’m guessing there will be Oiler fans that like him more than I do that are against giving him up plus Jesse to get Kunin who while promising is still a gamble.

Trade deadline deal with Edmonton
As an Oiler fan I’d probably do it, but I’m pretty high on Anderson.
The 2nds suck to give up but the conditions make them reasonable (though I’d like to make the conditional pick on signing Anderson a third). Puljujarvi probably isn’t bringing back much more than that, Slepy might not ever come back to the NHL and if he does it’s tough to bank on him being overly impactful. I don’t love giving up Lavoie, would like to find a way to take him out of the deal but you have to give to get.

The Carl Hagelin comparison is an exaggeration but I don't think he would be a 30 goal scorer if he was having to drive his own line. He is dragged along by two very good players every night and that inflates the perception of him. He is not a top line player by himself and he is disgustingly overpaid. Leafs would be wise to move him before he gets exposed for what he is.

Manson is top-4 D that has defensive qualities Toronto needs and wants. They are not trading Nylander unless its astronomical overpayment.</div></div>
Nylander is among the most over rated and over payed players in the NHL. Every day he wakes he should be dropping to his knees thanking good and Sheldon keefe that he is allowed to play with one of Matthews or Tavares every game so he can continue his charade of being a first line NHLer. He is Carl Hagelin if Carl Hagelin was a bad defender but he gets pucks bounced in off him by two of the leagues best centers.

Nylander is among the most over rated and over paid players in the NHL. Leaves would be wise to move him while he is still masquerading as a top 6 player.

You cant guarantee a cup for anyone, let alone a top heavy team that adds an over the hill goalie. This isn't the NBA where you can name the Finals MVP before the playoffs start.

What? Manson is a top pair D. Needs a top 6 player back, Matthews and Marner make to much money, Nylander is the right age but extremely overpaid and a fringe first line player so I cant see Anahiem moving him for less.
Especially not for Dermott and a pile of nothing.

I think the only way that Manson moves to Toronto is for Nylander and a pick. They do need a young forward by Manson is better than Nylander so Toronto would have to add.

NSH Trade
"- Pelletier has similar value to Kapanen at the time (likely makes the NHL, might amount to more)."
Pelletier is one of the more over valued prospects out there. He is 5'9" to the top of his cap and does not play a game that translates well to the NHL, I am not saying small players cant make it but they have to come with more speed than Pelletier does, or at least have one specific skill that is eye popping. Pelletier is a decent player don't get me wrong, but what makes him a junior standout is that he does everything good but nothing great.
I get that he is scoring well this year but he is playing on an absolutely stacked team (of which he is not the leading scorer) in a league where a goalie considers it a great year if his sv% cracks .905.
You also aren't going to get Nashville to retain money for another 6 seasons.
Bennett is a 3rd liner at best, if Jankowski has any value at all its negative value.
I don't even know if Johansen even moves the needle that much for Calgary.
This is not a very good proposal.

Larsson is playing great now and we need him for the rest of this year, especially if we make playoffs. He is my kind of guy in the playoffs</div></div>
Agreed. Barrie is a good player but not a fit for the Oilers at all, especially with Bouch coming to do exactly what Barrie is going to want 7mil to do.

Why would Carolina move a useful roster player when they are in the thick of a playoff race?
