Alright
Montreal isn't in a position to be trading quality NHL players and good NHL futures for a 27 YO defensemen that has career high of 28 points. If we are trading Domi, it will be for a young NHL defender that is capable of putting up points. Bergevin isn't going to trade Domi unless a team overpays for him, not the other way around.
There are many comparables to what Tatar could get, just look at:
Rick Nash for 1st + Solid middle 6 winger, Solid 3rd line center, 2nd round pick prospect
Statsny for 1st + 3rd round pick prospect
Hayes for 1st + former 2nd round pick
Zucker for 1st + Middle 6 forward + former 2nd round pick
Coleman for 1st + Former 1st round pick
Pageau for 1st + 2nd + 3rd
Goodrow for 1st
At this point, I'd say the Hall trade is a fair comparison. Tatar outproduced Hall last year and he put up great analytic numbers.
1st + Atleast a Very good prospect for Tatar if he plays similar to this year.
I don't really see a point in the Lehkonen trade, he's a great middle 6 winger and the chances of getting a similar player with the 2nd round pick is slim to none.

Danault with that term might demand something like 5.8M
Brodin I think comes just a bit cheaper, maybe 5.9M
Ennis is getting nothing more than a million, and for 2 years most I give is 1.125M
For 7 years the Nuge is getting closer to 7.6M
Not very likely we get Perfetti, and he's a lefty
That's an overpay for Brodin, maybe Domi and a 2nd/3rd
50% retained Tatar can easily get you a 1st and a B+ prospect, if not an A- prospect
I see no point in trading Lehkonen; I'd rather him over Ennis
Nugent-Hopkins - Danault - Gallagher
Drouin - Suzuki - Caufield
Perfetti - Kotkaniemi - Armia
Ennis - Poehling - Byron
Brodin - Weber
Romanov - Petry
Chiarot - Fleury
Mete

Contract signing are pretty god!
Domi for Brodin 1 on 1 with extension both ways are the way to do it. Brodin is 2 years older, have been a top 4 defenseman for is entire career, doesnt have offensive number to justify the two picks and Brook that has been added. Montreal could probably had Mete with Domi but that would be it. Domi have been underrated by a lot of people around here. In the past 5 years he have been rank 40th amoung centerman around the league in point and that include even players like Reinhart, Draistail, Pavelski who have been use as winger mostly.

Interesting, I'd only make the trade if Brodin comes with an extension and I think the same goes for Minnesota

Next Year - Take advantage of cap space
I would think Habs would be better off using Cap space by « helping » another team in taking and overpaid goalie. MB would kill 2 birds with one stone... Allen in STL comes to mind, but I'm sure there are others...

Adressing Mtl needs TB UFA
I personally think McDonagh is the contract they have to move to still be a contender and then everything lines up for them after this year with McDonagh off the books to pretty much re-sign their young core like Point, Cirelli and Sergqhev over the next couple of seasons.
Would hurt to lose him as he is still a good LD but it just makes the most sense.

Kulak isnt getting you a 2nd. McDonagh I’ll be interested to see what TBL fans think, but his contract and term have to have significantly more value than what is represented in the trade. From an outsiders the Habs problems are what they have always been, weak down the middle particularly at the top not the wing and adding Hoffman to the mix doesn’t fix that. They have some prospects and young guys who might grow into the role particularly Suzuki, but until that’s address I think MTL stays what they are a fringe playoff team scrapping to get in.

Lou would easily match that offer sheet on Matt Barzal, Probably need to offer Connor McDavid money for him to take the picks.

TB trade who wins
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>keep_ups12</b></div><div>Ok. I thought it was obvious who won and lost
Montreal gets a 30+ goal scorer who could be a point per game player. This is even a division team their trading with.
All they give up is a first round pick a top 6 forward and a defensive prospect.
Tampa gives a 40+ goal scorer and are giving it to a division team.
Tampa's chance to win is NOW. They have one of the best teams in the league and want to continue their playoff runs
They would rather trade someone else other than point</div></div>
Ok now we can discuss.
First of all, Suzuki is 20 years old and already a top 6 forward. That's his floor. At 20 years old Point scored 40 pts in 68 games playing 17 min / game. Suzuki scored 41 pts in 71 games playing only 16 min / game. Suzuki alone has the potential to become Point, so why should MTL overpay to get Point when they potentially already have him in Suzuki?
That's not a "first round pick" that's a top 10 pick. There's a huge difference.
Brook a defensive prospect? He lead the WHL in pts by a defenseman in 2018-19, he is offensive, his D needs work.
Now I agree and respect the fact that TB's window to win is now, so yes they probably wouldn't want to do this trade if they don't have to.
But how is this a "homerun" for MTL?
You never mentioned anything about cap space. "They would should trade someone else" there entire team has NTC except for Killorn, and even if they trade Killorn it's probably not enough to keep Cirelli and Sergachev.

?? TB would 100% say yes to this. Solves their $$$ issues. They get Suzuki who honestly could replace Point. Like seriously imagine how good Suzuki would be in TB. They get a top 10 draft pick who should be a really good player, and they get Josh Brook too.
This trade would be a disaster for MTL.
Edit:
Point rookie season: 40 pts 68 games.
Suzuki rookie season: 41 pts 71 games.
TB would literally be replacing Point with a younger and cheaper Point ($5.5M in cap savings) while adding a top 10 pick and Brook.
Its brutal.

For me it depends on Ikonen.
Anderson= 2nd (would prefer a higher one as STL will be low)
Murray= Ikonen and 3rd (again it depends on the prospects potential)
Kulak=no value as a player to even our contracts, it’s doubtful he sees anytime in Columbus as we have 6 other LHD with NHL experience.
I’d probably make the trade and flip Kulak for another pick if possible.

Habs
Why would we do ANY of this?
1. Not resigning Danault is possibly the worst move here. He was 7th in Selke voting this year and had 50 points.
2. Tatar I could see going to free agency but if Bergevin can resign him it's worth it.
3. Signing Hall to that contract is such a joke.
4. Pietrangelo would be great but we have some prospects coming up so not necessary.
5. Armia and Lehkonen are worth so much more than that.
6. Nolan Patrick is not the player he was when he was drafted and Petry is worth a lot more, especially since Berge declined Bean and 1st.
7. Alzner can probably be CBOed.
