If the Pens make the playoffs. Am I the only one who thinks Crosby deserves the Hart? MacKinnon Kuch McDavid Matthews have all had outstanding seasons. But that’s why there is an award called outstanding. Anyway. My two cents.

In all seriousness I don’t mind the trade. Defense is what they need. Big bodies is what they need. Still not looking promising for a playoff run however.

The way I look at awards is where would their team be without them. Tampa is a bubble team with or without Kuch. Avs aren’t even close without MacKinnon.
Nashville isn’t even close to the playoffs without Saros.
Miller has been unreal. But I know won’t get it.

The Athletics proposed trade
Though I don't mind Dumba. I just don't think he's what we need. Nor do I think he's that good of a player anymore. Tanev is an absolute no brainer. I've been calling for Tanev to be a Leaf for quite some time.
I'd rather the Leafs continue the push for Tanev and size up the forward group a bit with proven playoff performers.
The way the game changes in the playoffs we're just not quite there with this group.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ClockReads2113</b></div><div>Isn't Pelech-Pulock their top pairing? Hard to see NYI doing that.</div></div>
Rotating pairings in the Top 4 anyway. I think Dobson has solidified that Number 1 d man spot for sure. It's more of a trade that addresses Islanders likely not being the team this year. Pelech and Pulock being older (only a few years) and in win now mode, and Marner Barzal and Horvat being near the same age and one hell of a forward core.

i honestly don't know how the Tanev trade will go down. I think it will be the Leafs. Treliving is good at trading 60% of the time. Horrible at contracts however.

Thank you all. It was fun to make. Even though most is outrageous. However the principle behind it of WHEN the Leafs inevitably underachieve again, Columbus finally getting a true #1 Centre and salvaging a run with Werenski and Gaudreau would be fun. Also, I truly believe Fantilli is going to be the next Jonathan Toews so that's why I keep making ACGMs with him becoming a Leaf lol.
16 days to go until we see some extremely disappointed fans in what they think their players are worth. And some fans who nearly ****e themselves with the return they get for some surprising players. CHeers!

I could see Columbus paying an absolute premium to have a star American born centre. Columbus has literally never had a true 1C. Let alone a franchise level one. Would give them an opportunity to maximize Werenski and Gaudreau as well.

Greig knew exactly what he was doing. Sens are a bottom feeder team. The fact that he, as a hardly established NHLer, caused that reaction out of Rielly and a team that is supposed to be contending is hilarious.
If it was Brady Tkachuk, maybe I could see a response like that… maybe? But still, it’s a bottom feeding team the leafs played like ****e against.
If they were playing the Bruins, or Tampa, or any contending team from another division, 100% cool with the Rielly response.
Well done Greig for stirring the pot is all I have to say.
