If they acquire his rights

Tavares was offered 13mil by at least one team.

Dumba in 2019-2020: <a href="https://hockeyviz.com/player/dumbama94/MIN/1920" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://hockeyviz.com/player/dumbama94/MIN/1920</a>
He makes the Wild less effective on offense, and on defence. This trend is prevalent across his entire career.
Hitting a lot and blocking a lot of shots means you don't have the puck, which means you cannot score goals. A lot of shots from your defencemen is typically not a good thing. Blasting a point shot, which he does, often, is very often just a turn over with extra steps. It's a low percentage shot (he's scored on 3% of his 129 shots this year).

William Nylander
Trading a good player for a large collection of worse players is usually not a winning formula. Nylander is young, and on one of the best value contracts in the league.
All these guys are older, and not a single one of them is even close to as good as Nylander. We have no need for Ho-Sang, we have about 6 players that are his skill level. Mayfield is fine, but nothing special. Ross Johnston is nothing. Bailey is arguably paid correctly for his level of production last year, but he's only going to decline on the wrong side of 30.
From a possession and shot generation stand point, <a href="https://hockeyviz.com/player/bailejo89/NYI/1920%5B/url%5DBailey" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://hockeyviz.com/player/bailejo89/NYI/1920Bailey</a> and <a href="https://hockeyviz.com/player/johnsro94/NYI/1920%5B/url%5DJohnston" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://hockeyviz.com/player/johnsro94/NYI/1920Johnston</a> are both dragging the Islanders down?
I just don't see the point in a trade like this for Toronto.

Matt Dumba is also... not a very good hockey player? If you look at his isolated impact on shot metrics, he makes the wild worse on both offense and defense.
Kasperi Kapanen for Dumba 141 is probably not something the leafs should consider, let alone the package you've proposed.

California Dreaming
I'm really big on trying to bring in Sean Walker or Matt Roy from the kings. I think that the buying price would likely be higher. Small sample size from either player would maybe keep the price down, but if I were the Kings I'd be looking for a player like Kapanen from the leafs. I don't think either is getting moved for prospects, but i think that the Leafs could maybe do it for Bracco and a second, but that's a stretch.
RE: Ritchie - Why? All he does better than Johnsson is hit. Otherwise, I think Johnsson is able to get the puck back as effectively, and actually finish. Is the idea just to give some size up front while saving 2mio in cap?

Suprise
That Jarry trade feels pretty far fetched. Murray's inconsistency and his aav makes him a major commodity. You'd be more likely to get Desmith
