Dylan Strome and Pearson
Strome has been pretty disappointing this season, so I think I'd take this, as a Hawks fan.
If you're relying on him to be a 2C, at this point, I think you're going to be disappointed as well. He hasn't really produced well away from DeBrincat and/or Kane and imo, he's brought Kubalik down with him this season. He has a concussion right now, so maybe he gets healthy and comes back a new man, but I am starting to buy into the narrative that he isn't really ever going to be able to produce on his own after kinda giving him the benefit of the doubt the last two seasons. I root for him hard, don't get me wrong, but that's just kinda how it's been this season.

Eichel and Savard
They don't necessarily need more center depth, but Philadelphia seems like a good landing spot for Eichel. Big market, in a position to win now, well-rounded team, seemingly good culture and have pieces that Buffalo could actually be interested in. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up there

I honestly had no idea he was so mean either lol. He's been throwing hits, getting in scrums, fighting for pucks; he's gonna be something special

If Ebs wasn't playing so well, I wonder if you try him with Barzal. Doesn't really have the speed but he can score in so many ways, kinda like Lee

So weird what's happened to him this season. He's been great the last four years, with his production exploding in the last two, but this season he gets off to a slow start and Florida is done with him. Not sure what's going on there, but hopefully their loss can be another team's (the Isles'?) gain.

Trade Chiarot Who would interested in a deal
I’d like him to replace Greene on the Islanders 3rd pair but we don’t really have the cap space to do it unless Hickey or Komarov were going back to MTL

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>coga16</b></div><div>Nah, least realistic bc Avs don’t have any cap space, and they don’t want to add any right now to get off of ltir money so they can apply makars bonus money to this season.
They can’t do this deal even with they wanted to</div></div>
Then I stand corrected. Didn’t know they were so short on cap space

Which Pearson trade is the best
Colorado is probably the most realistic, although Jost has been pretty good for the Avs this year, so I don’t even know if that would go. I think what’s most likely is that he gets traded for like a 2nd and a 5th or something like that and Vancouver either retains to make it work or takes an expiring contract back

No thanks
I'm probably a little biased but Wahlstrom has been so great for us this season, I have zero interest in seeing him traded. Then add on our 1st rounder, which I would really like to keep this season since we didn't have one last year and kinda bungled the 2019 pick. Just seems like a lot idk

5th in the NHL in SV
I'm not sold on any of the goalies yet (that includes Delia being bad), but god, watching Lank and Subban play the way they have has been so fun to watch. Definitely starting to put some thoughts in my head and if we make it out of this little stretch where we play the Florida teams a lot, those thoughts are going to get louder and louder lol

Swap Problems
I actually really like this. Both teams get a piece they need (Nashville a potential top-six goal-scorer that will actually use him in that role and Buffalo some more depth at C). Personally, I think Johansen would be closer to Skinner in value but there's also less upside with him that there is with Duchene, so I guess it's whoever you like more at that point.

For Next Season
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>slapshot723</b></div><div>Isles have no use for Kerfoot. Our center depth is incredibly strong, and even if Kerfoot could play LW, he's too expensive without the Leafs taking salary back (which they won't do).</div></div>
If somehow the Kraken take Bailey (or we make some other trade) I'd be more than happy with Kerfoot for a year. I like his versatility and I think he's better than some Leafs fans give him credit for. And aside from Cizikas last season, we've been very lucky with Barzal, Nelson and Pageau's health. If one of those guys were to go down, Kerfoot could fill in quite nicely.

Sharks Rumor
Karlsson is immovable, moving him on that contract would be nearly impossible.
Burns make have some value but you’re either retaining or taking on a bad contract. But maybe you could get a package of B-prospects or mid round picks.
Kane I think would have legit value; you’re taking money back too but maybe you could get a late 1st rounder for him
Jones is going to be bought out this offseason and they’ll just completely redo their goaltending, probably a lot like the Blackhawks did, taking a bunch of unproven guys and crossing their fingers one pans out

Virtanen is suck
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kotkaniemi15</b></div><div>He scored at a good pace last year, but he is the farthest thing from solid.
IMO he’s just Alex Galchenyuk 2.0, except maybe a worse player. He can sometimes score goals, but he doesn’t deserve a spot in the NHL with his terrible defensive play, and the only reason that he’s played as much in the NHL as he has is because he was a high 1st round pick.</div></div>
I would like for the Islanders to be the team that finds out if that's true. He wouldn't cost all that much, so if he does flop, we're really not losing all that much. But if he doesn't, we have a decent play-driving power forward who can play up and down the lineup. I don't think he's ever going to be 6th-overall-special, but I personally would be interested in seeing what he can do outside of Vancouver

Do they go for the cup or
Watching this bad team play well has been a lot of fun, but buying at the deadline would be a massive, massive mistake.
They haven't played a ton of games against the top dogs in their division yet and still get outplayed more often than not. We've got a long way to go before we're real contenders again, I'd rather build toward it with the pieces we have than try and force it now.
If we somehow make the playoffs, awesome. Sucks that our draft position will take a hit, but I'm not out here rooting against my own team lol. But adding rentals and giving up picks just isn't the way to go, even if we are gunning for a spot at the deadline

He was pretty solid last year, something seems rotten with him and Vancouver. I think a change of scenery would be helpful.

Some of my favorite options (of the more realistic variety) are Virtanen, Cousins, Jarnkrok, Iafallo and maybe Forbort if the Jets fall out of it.
My dream acquisitions would be Ekholm or Tatar
