wingers pt 2

And that’s 3 games, 20 points in 70 games isn’t a top 6 winger. Also two of the goals against San Jose, lafferty got two goals against San Jose so that’s not saying much.

Canadians Acquire Future Assets and Tank
That's a pretty odd condition to put on a draft pick, especially for 21/22, given that Kravtsov can't return to the NHL until this year until the KHL season is done...KHL regular season ends on February 27th, and his team is comfortably in the playoffs...so, maybe mid-late March at the earliest?

ADAM FOX TRADE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>dzad96</b></div><div>Why do the rangers trade anything for him when they can just sign him as a free agent in August? Maybe they give up like a third to have early signing rights to him before he can talk to anyone else but that would be it.</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BeastModeUnknown</b></div><div>Either way still really dumb to try and trade for a guy who won't stay just make a contract offer shouldn't have much of an issue signing him.</div></div>
He only becomes a UFA in 2020 and is more than NHL ready now. Rumour is if the Canes trade him to a team he wants to play for he'll sign now instead of playing his last year of college. So if the Canes want to get anything out of this situation they have to find a proper trading partner this offseason because if they wait too long he walks and they get nothing.
This whole situation is amateur hour, the NHL needs to do something to avoid these situations in the future because as it sits now, if I'm an NHL team I don't even bother drafting college players.

Yes but I've benched Malkin a shift or two in this lineup because he has not been playing well. HA!

FOWLER TO MTL
If the proposal is for Anaheim to send us Cam Fowler and for us to send absolutely noting in return, then I am in 100%. MB would be a genius for pulling off such a trade :)

Make LA great again
Jesus these trades are awful.
Kings aren't going to trade Clifford if all that's coming back is a 7th round pick. He's the unsung hero of the team and he's a coach and teammate favorite. If someone wanted him as a throw in on a bigger trade, I could see the Kings considering it, but they're not just going to give him away.
Fantenberg and Lovejoy are both UFAs at the end of this season. With neither team likely to make the playoffs, why would either team do this?
Thompson is worth more than a 7th to a team looking to improve their PK and faceoff prowess. I would say a 4th is more likely.
Burakovsky is 3 years older than Kempe, not as good, and will require a qualifying offer of $3¼ million to prevent him from becoming a UFA at the end of the season. The Kings want to have nothing to do with his contract, let alone give up a quality young player for him.
Trevor Lewis is the same as Kyle Clifford. Coach/player favorite. Voted unsung hero on the team every year. The Kings won't give him away unless there's something good coming back.
Kings won't trade away a 1st round pick in this draft. Hayes is a quality player, but he's a UFA at the end of the season. If the Kings really wanted him, they'd just wait until the offseason and make him an offer.
The Arizona trade is the worst one yet. If the Kings are trying to get younger and faster. Why would they trade away one of their fastest players and one of their youngest quality prospects for an undrafted 22 year old that's not even producing in the AHL.
The Ottawa trade is fine I guess. Ceci isn't that good though. I think they'd rather just give the spot to a young defenseman like Walker that's already in the system rather than pay an overrated defenseman $4.3M.
