Klefbom for Lehkonen and Poehling and Carolina Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sammy1414</b></div><div>Just 'cause Poehling got a hat trick in his first game every habs fan thinks his value = McDavid</div></div>
His value is a solid two way center that can skate. Is he more a amazing 3rd center or a good 2nd I guess time Will tell. Saying "every habs fan thinks his value = McDavid" his almost as stupid as thinking Poehling's value = McDavid. Does his value his MAYBE higher than it should be ? MAYBE but that doesnt mean his "real value" is garbage.

For the value of the trade yes NYR could accept it if you look at Skinner trade last year (couple of piks and cliff pu). It is fair IMO or close too fair I guess NYR fans would want a first and a prospect (would be too much for us). You always want the max for your player :)

I still think he has some good hockey years tho is still pretty fast and pretty strong, even if his production drops a litttle he is a valuable player for other things, I would take a chance for a new contract with him but i get why some wouldnt</div></div>
If kreider ask for 7 year x 6,5m full NMC would you sign ? With the taxes in MTL and the cap going up I feel he could ask something like this. For me it is a no no. I understand your point that yes he would help us for the next 2-3-4 years but for me that is too much for a 2-3 line winger.

The problem with Kreider is that he will need an extansion next summer. At this moment, he will be 29 and NO WAY we sign him long term. His style of play doesnt age well (simmonds maybe not the best comparaison but still) and he is way over the age of our core (kk-suzuki-poehling-caufield-domi-mete-romanov-brook). I do like Kreider the player but his age and contract situation are not a great fit with our team. Rather keep lehko.

Small change : my fourth line would be Lehko-Cousins-Weal and change the first with the second (Danault's line will play against every other team top line again this season)

Bowen Byram for Drouin ?? Heiskanen (futur Noris winner) + Bishop for Price ??? Gibson (younger + better contract + close to Price in term of perfomance) + Comptois for Price ?? I would not make a Gibson for Price swap if I'm the Ducks. Dude my comment was a little **** I admited but your evaluation of players and teams needs are way off IMO. Drouin's value right now is low by the way. Just read the other comment...

Dont worry guys we are not all like that ! The Hawks trade is the most "legit" (still hawks declines) but the rest is pure joke IMO.

RNH Tatar
EDM needs to add to their scoring depth right now. I dont think they would even consider your package. As for the Habs trade it would have made sense a month ago but with Kulak/Chiarot having sign 3 years (1 way contract) + Mete (playing with weber) + Rielly (one way) the Habs will likely keep this defense for another year (waiting for Romanov). Im talking about the left side. For RNH, Walshtrom or Wilde + a first would be more realistic for RNH IMO

If Vancouver where shoping Boeser (they're not) they would ask for a package like Caufield + 1st pick or KK IMO. Wich, as an Habs fan, I would declines :). Drouin's value is low right now. We should keep him and hope for a bounce back season (playing with Domi !)

Playoff
Also it might seem strange but last year our 4th line was garbage and cost us some games in the midseason. I would be more confident in a Lehko-Cousin-Weal 4th line than Hudon-Peca-Deslauriers. More scoring from the 4th line will help. Remember + 2pts is maybe the difference beetween playoff or not !

I expect a downgrade (pts) for Domi and Tatar but Drouin, Lehko (lack of %goal/shot), Byron (injured), Armia (injured), KK and Poehling can all have career high if they play the full season. I expect Danault and Gally to be the same (25-30 goals from Gally and 40-50 pts two way game from Danault).

Playoff
Gallagher, Tatar and Domi could all scores 25+ goals. While Drouin, Danault, KK and Byron should be in the 15-20 range so a good offensive depth if everyone is healty ! Hope Shea can play a full season. If there is an injury in the top 9 Suzuki is called up from Laval so again I love the deph. Their is no Superstars like our divison rival (Matthews,Tavares,Marner,Bergeron,Pasternak,Marchane,Stamkos,Point,Kucherov,Barkov,Huberdeau to name a few...) but NYI and CAR show that offense by comitee works

Does this make sense tatar to the preds
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Wqrrior</b></div><div>Making MTL threads is difficult because (most) MTL fans only accept overpayments and not reality. I think this trade is fair in many ways. You'd have to retain on Bonino though and the 1st should be in 2021, otherwise MTL is getting a steal here. This next draft is a deep one.
Not calling out MTL fans as a whole as being a negative group, but look into the trade more before you immediately say "MTL says no".</div></div>
I dont think that MTL fans are better/worse than any other fan base, the only think is that their is more "fans" and when their is more "fans" their is more "morons". But the % of "morons" is about the same (maybe a bit more :)). Also a lot of MTL fans speek french so just writting "MTL says no" is more simple hehe ! For the trade I dont see Danault and tatar in the the same deal. Also Nashville already have Duchenne/Johansson/Turris so they probably dont need Danault. But they could use Tatar + retain salary to help their top 6. Maybe Tatar (salary retain) for Bonino (cap dump at this point) and either 1st 2020 or Tolvanen could be fair.

Not the best D in the league but should do the job with Price ! Just some number of Kulak next year playing most of the time with Petry (top 4) 57 games 6 goals 11 assists for 17 pts +12 (no PP) and he is 25 years old so still room for improvement.

Is it worth a fringe top-4D and 2nd round pick? I don't know. Before his injury, Kase was on pace for 54 pts. - and that assumes he would continue at that level. Beau could be a 40 pt player or so. Kase helps, no question about that, but I think it's too rich of a deal</div></div>
Kase was on a 30 goal rate season at only 23 years old :) (I know that is only projection but that what Ducks fan will see in Kase !)

Ducks
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Barbs</b></div><div>I agree that quality trumps quantity (suck it Melnyk) but that offer has multiple quality pieces that on their own (at the very least) can be argued comparable to Kase's value. Beauvillier is younger and has put up decent numbers and Mayfield is a solid RHD on a great contract. Throw in a 2nd round pick and I can't see how the Ducks turn it down while going through a rebuild.</div></div>
The Ducks have 0 reason to trade Kase. Like you mention they are in a retool phase so they can be patient. The only reason they would trade Kase his for a young offensive RHD to complete their top 4 with Manson. The Ducks dont want Beauvillier IMO they already have better or same kind of (but younger) player like Terry, Comptois, Lundestrom and Steel. That trade would work for the NYI and would work on xbox (because the value is their) but I would be surprised if a Duck fans would accepted that deal. If there is any Ducks fans that want to give is thought that would be appreciated :). Like I sais IMO they easily declines.
