Sharks decline. Nowhere near Kahk's value and the Sharks are gonna trade Reim or Hill first anyway

The last three trades the Sharks accept but a 3rd and a 6th is Hill's value without Mrazek in there. Try at least 2 2nds and Mrazek for Hill and that's closer. And the Habs are the ones who should be adding in that trade as well.

New Coach New Arena and the best roster yet
Honestly super hyped. So much more depth and promise going into next season. Wonder if they leave Laroque in the WHL though. Guess we'll see.

First trade is fine I guess. Not psyched about trading another second but it’s probably fair.
The second grade Dahlén definitely makes up for whatever negative value simek has so the Sharks shouldn’t be adding at all there

If Nill is Gone
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ItsTheCracken</b></div><div>Brother, who do you think is taking Burns at 37yo at 8m for 3 more years without y’all taking a contract back?? That’s how that works. You’ve 3 terrible D contracts, you’re swapping one out for a forward K here.</div></div>
My guy Vlasic and Karlsson are the unmovable ones. Burns isn’t. Yes he’s 37 but this year played on a bad team, lead the league in minutes played, and was 12th in D-man scoring. I don’t expect most teams to be able to take on Burns’ full cap but making it work would look like the Sharks retaining 1-2 million max or us taking back Khudobin. Or maybe getting a third party involved to retain some $$. Taking on Seguin without dumping an <em>actually</em> bad contract like Vlasic or EK65 would be disastrous and would defeat the point of trading Burns in the first place.

Sharks major overhaul

Yeah he's fine but it's more money and term than I'd want to take on even though he's probably more or less worth it. At least it's a moveable contract.

point of trading burns would be to save cap.
The Sharks get a worse player signed for longer and save no money here. Doesn't make sense.

Wonder if we could flip Pettersson to Vancouver I heard somewhere they were interested in him.

2nd Round Bound
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>sharks_1999</b></div><div>no chance lol</div></div>
I dunno it's not that bad. No way SJ adds the pick here but Kerfoot did hit 51 points last season which would be good for our depth. That would be the 4th highest scorer on the team. Would probably rather just do Reimer for a 2nd rounder though.

Can't see Toronto being thrilled with that offer. I'd ask for at least double that if I were trying to move Nylander.

Yeah it would be tough to convince Benn to leave. Does he have a full NMC?

If the Sharks are giving you a positive value player <em>and</em> retaining $6 million on said player, they aren’t gonna be adding more value the other way.

Sharks decline. Robertson is more or less the cost to dump Mrazek alone. That leaves it at Valimaki for Reimer and Balcers which doesn't check out at all.
