Vegas goes crazy
I believe the Sabres would absolutely do this deal. Kolesar is exactly what that team needs.

With Bedard
Sabres send the private jet to ship Olofsson out and collect that pick in this talented draft. Could likely get him for a 2nd or 3rd…Kassian returning to BFLO is much needed grit.

Would you accept Vladar + Gilbert + DeSimone for Olofsson 50% Retained + Luukkonen instead!?
Has Levi said whether he’s turning Pro Full-Time or returning to College!?</div></div>
Levi won five of seven at the end of the year and was very solid. Vladar is an interesting offer as the Sabres may want a more experienced backup. Gilbert is a local kid and would add as a 6/7 D with size.

Less than 0% chance Buffalo moves Levi…let alone for that.

Something I would try

Love the idea of depth and balance.
Agree on Skinner with Jack. His 5-on-5 numbers with Eichel were way better than Oloffsons.
Skinners number historically with Staal were not great.

3 scoring lines
Really really like Granlund to fill out the forwards. Would be concerned about team toughness with Risto out for another puck mover...Maybe Borgen gets his shot in that scenario?

granlund
I wanted Kahun back to push Cozens into the 3C position with solid veteran support and offensive talent. Since he went to Edmonton for peanuts, I’d love love love to see Granlund. Another RW would allow for a ton of flexibility during a truncated season with higher injury/COVID risk. I know management is concerned about bonus carryover but with so much uncertainty, they should field the best team possible and split the $1.4875M 19/20 bonus penalty over two years to squeeze this deal in.

What Would you Offer for Gaudeeau Kylington Package
BUF needs major center help and Cousins is boarder line untouchable. Monahan would be a minimum.

Just killing time by the pool
While the Sabres need grit desperately, they have no shortage of LWs. “FANS” love their native sons and Wood was born in Buffalo when his dad played their. Value and cap wise, makes sense.

Eichel somehow
Not only is Eichel NOT getting trading, that package wouldn’t come close.
GMBott is out, no more dumpster fire trades any time soon.

Turris and Holtz
While Turris is expensive at $6M per, he may be the best value option Adams has as a .5 PPG player. He can then slide into the 3C roll in a couple years.
There will be some market for his services only bc a number of teams need veteran help down the middle. Those are the biggest constrained resource in hockey.

so difficult
BUF is desperate for a 2nd line center and would likely give a lottery protect 2021 1st. They'd do that deal in heartbeat.
Team already has a number of left handed forwards, Saad likely wont fit their plans, but it's tempting at that price.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lsendel3</b></div><div>Buf takes that and runs. Perfect stop gap for the young centers in the org</div></div>
Buffalo should take that Turris Anaheim deal and run. He'd be a perfect stop-gap 2C. I'd take his offensive upside over Bonino

how to fit under capgood players have to go
BFLO desperately needs a 2C so they would accept
Mittelstadt only needs a qualifying offer - $971,250
Montour likely $1M more plus ($4.8M according to Evolving Hockey projections)

As a Sabres fan I can't agree to that trade fast enough...No way Nashville gives up Johansen for a soured prospect (Mittlestadt) and a D Man that was a healthy scratch numerous times this year.

I’m a Buffalo native living in Chicago...I’ll drive the Hawks side to OHare and gladly pick Scandella up while I’m there...if Bowman were to even propose this and GMBOTT doesn’t accept immediately...he should be fired.

Playoff Contender rooster surgery
There is zero chance Bob comes to Buffalo.
Tampa pukes all over that offer. McDonagh has a NTC...Swap JT Miller in and maybe they consider it, but that might be too much to give to help them save cap room.
Too much for Puljujarvi and Vesey...I'd want Kreider for that.
Unfortunately Duchene is getting at least $9.5 now.
McCabe ERod and Ullmark are all getting more than the qualifying offer.
Still need three roster players and Pilut is out for at least the first month.
Sobotka is a buyout

BFLO
If the Panthers are targeting Panarin and Bobrovsky, they will need to move salary. Tallon would likely love to get a former top 10 pick who is cost controlled for someone who would be leaving for free in a year like Skinner was in Carolina last year.
