disagree. they need to start making more room as it's becoming ever evident that Gallagher and Anderson will be bottom-6 players for the next 2-3 years

Not 100% sure, but I believe it ''resets'' on July 1st so after the draft.

Don't think we would be interested in Robertson, we don't need another small winger or more draft picks for that matter. I think maybe a deal could be had if the Leafs were giving up Minton or Cowen + a 2nd or 3rd but this package offers little in the way of what we need.

that return most likely nets you that package without retention... if they take 1.5m for this year & next, you'd prob need to add smtg else or find a 3rd party

5 Reasonable Moves with Reasoning
Have Lilly's extension number go down, I think he wants the 3-4 mill range on a long term deal...
Already tried and failed w Blackwell so NTU, Katchouk could be interesting though
Tre's already stated that he doesn't want to move a 1st, and the 3LD won't change that
Benoit should get a 1-1.5 mill deal

Sharks would have to i think, and Ferraro is only 25

As much as we'd hate to lose Ferraro, the Sharks would have to consider that offer.
If you're looking for depth forwards, the Sharks could help there too: Kunin, Barabanov, Sturm.

He’s a legit top 4 and would would be as well in TOR.
He is playing against every teams top line each night and has been the best of a bad group this year.
Don’t expect a lot of offense but he would be a fan fav faster than you’d think

Next Year- Kid Call up with Pesce as a FA and 2024 Deadline Buys
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Garak</b></div><div>What makes you say that?</div></div>
https://www.hawksinsider.com/nhl-team/chicago-blackhawks/tension-brews-in-blackhawks-locker-room-coaching-staff-and-player-butt-heads
"Yesterday, a noticeable rift has emerged within the Chicago Blackhawks locker room, centering around forward Boris Katchouk and head coach Luke Richardson.
Katchouk, who was called up from Rockford on December 30th, believes he's been performing well despite underperforming and a call out from his head coach. With five points in 17 games since his call-up, he ranks sixth on the team in individual scoring chances.
Expressing his confidence in his play, Katchouk emphasized the difficulty of finding confidence in the league but asserted that he's been creating chances and enjoying the game once again. However, Richardson's assessment of Katchouk's recent performance differs significantly."

I love Katchouk but he and Richardson don't see eye to eye so I'm sure he's available for the right price.

What If Jenner Waived M-NTC
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LAkingsfan77777</b></div><div>They're similar players and personally I think Laughton is better. Also that probably similar to want PIT wants for Guentzel so I think he'll be a good amount cheaper</div></div>
In what universe is Laughton better? They're similar players but Jenner is Laughton if Laughton was better at everything he does.
Jenner 37 GP, 16-5-21, -8, 694 GP Career 186-164-350, -67, 50.9% xGF% (+7.5% relative), 53% Corsi%, 55% FO%, 80 Hits
Laugthon 54 GP, 7-16-23, -6; 573 GP Career 89-133-222, -22, 41.1% xGF% (-12.5% relative), 44% Corsi%, 48.9 FO%, 98 Hits
I mean, moot point discussing relative values because Jenner doesn't get moved, but it's still absurd. If Cowan is on the table, I think the Leafs can keep Niemela for sure.

You can keep both Abruzzese and the pick. Peeke is likely on his way to a buyout, he's brutal. Maybe a good system salvages some potential, but man he's a mess.

Oh that's 100% the best fit for them for sure. But I wouldn't say no to a guy like Zadorov just based on him being left handed and making certain spots on the PP slightly more difficult to defend
