Ya I posted it last night and people gave me **** for it but it makes sense.

With that cap going up he is. I would rather pay one great goalie a lot then two ok goalies that add up to it. Bob hasn't played well in the playoffs but he's a talented guy with plenty of years left in the tank. It's either do this, trade for one or sign two goalies that add up to the same price. The term is a little long I agree but you might have to do it. It would be nice if we could draft a goalie instead but they are hard to come by.

Most people on this site are dumb and make boring trades. I actually try to make big interesting trades. And most of them make sense but people are so hung up on there own players. These trades are boring and just bad.

Seguin
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>biglite351</b></div><div>Seguin is not going to get moved for a 3rd line wing (oh, people hate it when I say that), a 3C, a 3rd pair D, #31 and #62. Even if I lie to myself and say that Burakovsky, is a 2W... it's still not enough for Seguin.
Seguin has been playing 1C as well. SO unless your plan is to also move either Kuznetsov or Backstrom... whoever is getting that 3C spot is not going to be happy, at all.</div></div>
Seguin would be a rental since he only has one year left on his deal so it is a lot to give up

Tarasenko
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hockeyfanatic05</b></div><div>Tarasenko is 26, so he's still very young and hasn't reached his prime. So age really isn't a major factor. Tarasenko's cap is also a little less that Draisaitl's. Also, Tarasenko has had 4 straight 30+ goal seasons and 1 40 goal season (39 goals in 2016). Leon has yet to score 30 goals in any of his seasons. Teams usually do not trade a top 5 sniper in a league for a great #2 center</div></div>
Draisaitl has 207 points in 269 games. He's only 22 and is a number one center on lots of teams. I think it's a good trade and center is a more important position. I can find lots of wingers that can score 33 goals. How many center's can you find that are 22 and put up 20-25 goals and 45 assist a year?
