Wait this team is over the cap
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ledge_And_Dairy</b></div><div>the ACGM feature only looks at beginning of season cap hits, it doesn't adjust for accrued cap space during the season</div></div>
But they had Muzzin on LTIR so they couldn’t accrue right or did they accrue prior to Muzzin on LTIR that just carried over?

2021-22 NHL Season Discussion Thread #23: The Aftermath
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Saskleaf</b></div><div>I agree, I don't think they'll win a round if they have to play Florida or Tampa. But unless they were going to get someone like John Gibson or Semyon Varlomov, there weren't really any good goalies on the market so acquiring a defenseman made the most sense, and they got probably the best fit that was on the open market. And I know that you think they need a forward, but Toronto has one of the best offenses in the league, but a slightly below average defense/goaltending, so I'm not sure I agree.</div></div>
I don't think any team wants to play Florida or Tampa or Boston. Dream scenario is Toronto drops to the 1st wild card spot and Florida/Tampa/Boston beat Carolina for 1st in the east. Then we go through the metro. Let the atlantic kill each other

That 2nd line gets cold too fast, no matter whose on that wing. I think Matthews and Marner can figure it out in the playoffs, iunno Nylander got hot last year but that was without Tavares (not blaming him) but hoping they don't flame out this year.

Reilly - Lybushkin
Muzzin - Mayfield
Sandin - Brodie
I rather that over:
Reilly- Lybushkin
Giordano - Sandin
Muzzin - Brodie
Anyway that's my opinion.</div></div>
Its a call back to tampa i guess like
Hedman
McDonaugh
Sergachev
The leafs version is
Rielly
Giordano
Muzzin
w/ The Cernak being Brodie. So then its Rutta, Bogosian and Cal Foote vs. Sandin, Lijlegren and Lybushkin

With Mrazek on waivers I’m assuming Jacks coming back, then Clifford also on waivers, Dermott traded. With 50% retention on Giordano and Colin Blackwell coming in, we still need to trade Justin Holl to make the cap work. So Holl is part of the deal or do you think that’s what the leafs are working on rn?

Guessing achilles. See how he tried to take a step, he probably felt his ankle give way. He wouldn’t try with a broken leg and he’d be grabbing his knee in pain if it were his knee. You can technically walk with a torn Achilles but I don’t think you can skate

Okay I just checked their Acgm so Katchouk was a spare so moving both of them for Hagel still works cap wise like perfectly. They can still carry a scratch (Foote). I thought this meant ABB would have a chance. If Foote is waiver exempt then maybe
