yeah its rumours but this is the hottest movement period of the year and where there is smoke, there is typically fire. not fair to dismiss the noise so utterly and completely. Most Wings fans i know are fed up of the rebuild and they arent bad enough for lottery picks in the future. Eventually, you have to choose an identity and pay for quality.

We are extremely high on Tippett, expecting another leap this year into the 35-40 goal range. he had 10 goals in the last 21 games and we're looking for more. He's a player that we're counting on to be apart of the future and the quantity here just doesn't fit the value of Tippett. It would have to be an overwhelming offer.

I'm not sure how many takers there will be for that. contenders can use TK for the next 2 years but likely don't have the cap space. rebuilders and teams on the bubble could afford Philly's price but wouldn't move all that much for someone they potentially lose in 2 years</div></div>
Flyers can literally make TK a 2.75M player with 50% retention for the right price, teams just have to pay up. A TK deal especially with 50% retention starts with Morrow or Nikishin and goes from there

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hammerwise</b></div><div>PHI is getting the short end, they definitely arent getting enough back:
SDA has gone back to Russia, and PHI is loaded with young forwards, he adds little value
Timmins, would be on his 4th team and still cant play defense (he dressed for 0 playoff games), PHI has Attard and Grans probably ahead of him for the 3rd pair at RD
Robertson is a small offensive prospect who hasnt produced, suffered multiple season ending injuries and value is at a low point, probably isn;t worth the 2nd round pick he was chosen with
Stanley has struggled to find NHL game and isn;t really a PHI need
So PHI gets just 2 late in the round 1sts for Hart, Laughton, and Farabee? Im thinking Leafs would have to add some substantial value, maybe 2 of Minten, Niemala and Voit to even get this closer, because timmins, SDA and robertson dont carry much value</div></div>
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>GirouxCrew</b></div><div>Personally I don’t think TOR is giving up enough in this deal. And for what the Flyers are getting back I don’t think it’s enough to part with Hart, Laughton and Farabee. I’d rather trade them all in separate deals. Well with the exception of Farabee because his value is at a low point so it’s not a smart move</div></div>
Welcome to CapFriendly where Leafs fans constantly give up little to nothing and the other teams gets the short end on trades

“What have they done” idk TK has been an all-star that just scored at a PPG last year at only 26 and is on a cheap contract for 2 more years and Hart is an established goalie at only 24 putting up decent numbers on an absolute tire fire. It’s like people don’t even think before speaking 😂😂😂😂😂

I don't hate that Jackets trade. Play around with the actual pick, but I like the idea of RD for C swap, given the team's needs. I think Boqvist is also better than people give him credit for.

Kenny please
You don’t have enough to pay for Hart and TK and make us take back Campbell. Like straight up. The deal is broken out like this:
Campbell, 2024 1st, 6th for Future considerations (that’s being generous considering he is owed $20M and sucks)
2025 1st, 2nd, Broberg, Savoie for TK (still probably not enough for him)
Lavoie and Rodrigue for Hart (not even close to enough, laughable at best)
Including Campbell literally nose dives this deal. The only way to make this deal work if you include Campbell is starting with Bouchard and or Holloway and then adding a ton to go with it. I think EDM will make a run for Hart but I don’t think they will go for TK. There’s also little to no chance Flyers take on Campbell because they just took on Petersen and want Ersson to develop as a 1A-1B goalie situation.

No. I personally don’t think you have anything to offer for Hart that isn’t Byfield or Clarke so I don’t see how a deal gets done with the Kings because neither of them are available

I highly doubt Philadelphia will be able to recoup (4) 1st round picks for Hellebuyck, which is the minimum they'd need to get fair value for TK, Hart, and Laughton. TK can probably fetch a mid 1st + early 2nd, Laughton a late 1st / early 2nd himself. The rumor on the street is that Philly wants 2 firsts for Hart and was only listening on trades, not actively shopping him. They'd be better off selling individually and not together to maximize its return.

Did Pitt fans like all collectively lose their minds? The flyers and penguins have made 3 trades since 2000. And in this deal you think we are going to give away a guy who was one of the best rookies in the league last year and part of our young core for a 3rd and a mid prospect?

Official Four-Way Trade per me

Switching the CGY first to the #16 pick this year probably gets the deal done, but then CGY probably wouldn't be too fond of getting rid of Mangiapane. It's hard to evaluate the value of these players. Timo Meier went for wayyyyy less than most were expecting, and he's probably the closest comparable to Debrincat. Jakob Chychrun is another one that returned probably a bit less than most expected. And then there's trades like Tanner Jeannot.
