Kane and Klingberg at the DL

Massive overpay for John Klingberg, His best days are behind him.
Massive underpay for Patrick Kane, You're not even close the NYR blow away that offer.</div></div>
Completely disagree on Kane. Everyone knows he wants out, and Chicago isnt going to get a king's ransom for 2 months of an aging star

Not on the right side. Dumba becomes your #1 or #2 RD depending on who you want with Reilly. LD is crowded with Reilly Sandin Gio and Muzzin. Really, they only have 1 RHD if Holl is gone

Mikheyev is a much better player than Holl</div></div>
if Mikheyev is in your top 6, you're in trouble. You'll see

Heck they might not even make the playoffs this year.... didnt replace Michayev... matt murray as your starter....unproven and risky bottom 6... average d core... Atlantic division will be a blood bath</div></div>
Micky didnt do anything worth replacing. Hes been injured more than not. the bottom 6 gets swapped out yearly on a lot of teams, not to mention, the guys people mention that "need replacing" every year on the leafs were totally unproven when they got them. Remember, they got Hyman for Tyler Biggs and Micky for nothing. I have zero issue with the D so long as Sandin gets signed and Holl isnt playing. I 1000% agree the goaltending is a risk, and a huge one at that. Dubas will either look like an idiot or a genius, there's no in between

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Lenny7</b></div><div>Not to mention that if DiPietro wants out, it's because he's got 3 goalies in front of him (Demko-Martin-Silovs). Coming to Toronto to be behind Murray, Samsonov, Woll and Kallgren seems counter productive, aside from being able to magically disappear cap space.</div></div>
DiPietro would not be behind Kalgren and Holl, and let's be honest here, its more likely that Murray winds up on LTIR for half the year then plays 60 games

There is no rumour thats what the avs are doing, its pure speculation by people with 0 insight into the situation bc they are not part of contract talks</div></div>
If you believe that many of these insiders don't have inside information, I've got some waterfront property for sale in the everglades

Any trade with Girard has to be one of two things: 1) a top-six forward with term, or 2) a blue-chip prospect and a 1st. A Kadri signing isn't necessarily implied if the Avs elect to trade Girard, it's merely a possibility.</div></div>

1 thing that's undisputed he made a stink to get that deal allowing him to walk as a UFA at 26 a year early for a reason
I cannot imagine a world where its to sign with TML or a Canadian team for that matter.</div></div>
Negative. He took that deal because the Leafs preferred it to keep the AAV down. He stated publicly, pretty recently actually, that he would have accepted an 8 year deal, and it was discussed, and that the shorter term was better for the team, to which he agreed

This is no different than the people who say Kerfoot is worthless and TML will have to give up assets to move him "because of their cap problems".

that totally defeats the purpose from the AGM. The purpose is to CLEAR SPACE for Kadri, which is widely rumored to be what they're doing, and Girard is almost always rumored to be the odd man out.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>ChiHawk</b></div><div>Not a chance Chicago accepts that offer. Knies or Robertson plus the 1st need to be included.
Also news for all the Leafs fans who think Knies is the 2nd coming, Wheeler published his top 50 prospect list and Knies didn't make it in the top 50. Robertson did but was #47 I believe. I've seen Leafs fans thinking Knies is a top 20 prospect and don't agree with that nor does Wheeler.
For Hawks fans, Reichel was ranked at #41, Korchinski at #30, and Nazar at #26...which puts Robertson and Knies in perspective (Knies is one of the most overrated prospects on this website).</div></div>
LMAO Kane is a UFA, no chance he's worth that
