he's 19 bro. he definitely has better upside then chytil. the only thing that doesn't make sense is your 100 posts a day. take a step back a little.

Tell me about these Rangers Prospects
Shestyorkin: living up to all the talk, maybe even better than we thought. I went to 2 hartford games this season, he played in both. i'm not talking **** here, i totally never seen anyone move as fast as him. he is a highlight reel machine. does let in some bad goals from time to time but who doesn't.
Chytil: playing great of course, i still wonder if he is the 2nd C of the future. i don't see number 1 center, still a chance he could end up on the wing. depending how this years draft goes and if the rangers make any trades. he is becoming a good 2 way player which is so important. we knew he was going to score but to be a stop 5 team in the league the forward need to be solid defensively. which is currently a weakness on this team.
Kravtsov: I recently watch the red wing doc about the russians players. his personality really makes me think of sergei fedorov. Kravtsov has a super star mentality. he might be better off staying in russia another year but i totally think he will be fine, i'm not worried at all. a one two punch on the right side with kakko and Kravtsov is a bright future.
Hajek: i don't think Hajek been bad this season. is he a future top pairing d? no way but he is definitely a NHL player. Hajek on your 3rd pair would be a big win. the question is do the rangers have a top pairing defenseman in their system? i don't know. i 'm excited about miller but it's too early to cement him as that guy yet. he might end up being a 2nd pair d. which is good, not a bad thing. what we do know is brady isn't that guy.
Howden: howden is good, i don't care what bloggers say. 3rd line real center who will play pk and give a team 35-40 points. as long as his future contract is decent he is a keeper.
Andersson: Howden will end up having a much better nhl career. imho. probably needs a change, this coaching staff doesn't trust him.

Trades over the next year
please stop this Staal for Kovalchuk trade. it's a horrible idea. Kovalchuk is the opposite kind of player Quinn plays. why would Staal wave his nmc to move across the country to play for one of the worst teams in the league? Better move is just buying Staal out at the end of the season.

you insinuated that strome has no value. he probably won't bring back a first but there is no doubt if the rangers decided to trade him they would get a good return. something equal or better than what they got for grabner.

i don't think he allows a trade because from what i've read and heard is that hank makes a lot of money outside of the game and if he got traded he would loose some of that income.
if i was the rangers i would come to him saying that we plan to make georgie that starting goalie. would hank be ok with being the backup for his last season? only playing 20 games? idk, but i think unless the rangers bought him out he isn't going any where. i also think buying he out isn't a good idea.

Offers for Ryan Strome
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LoganOllivier</b></div><div>He is a below average skater who need elite talent to not be a waste of a roster spot. In Edmonton when he was asked to anchor the 3rd line, he was terrible. He's just a depth player, this is just a heater.</div></div>
he stats were bad in edmonton but he wasn't a bad player. a depth player is someone playing the 13th forward or 7th defense. if you're saying that's what he is then obviously i disagree with you. of course strome isn't a first line player or a point per game guy. his time with the islanders and rangers he showed he is a solid middle 6 forward. edmonton was a mess the season he was traded to the rangers. it's not all his fault.
seriously, have you watch the games this season? strome been very good. he wasn't on the top line all season. he spent a bunch of games with kreider and he still did well while kreider looked horrible.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Sagecoll</b></div><div>I mean yes of course Panarin is totally driving Strome's play. But weirdly, you don't see that echoed in Jesper Fast's numbers who is also on that line so that argument starts to weaken... that Strome is entirely just a passenger here.
I think probably the more accurate argument to be made is that nobody puts up offense in Edmonton if you're not on PP1 or the top line...(aka with McD).</div></div>
good points. strome had 50 points his rookie season. if kakko gets 50 most ranger fans wouldn't complain. strome had some average scoring season but they were just watched with a microscope because he was the 4th pick and was traded for someone who scored more points then him after the trade. strome never been a bad player, it was assumed that by many fans because people expect a lot from a 4th pick.

Its just like Neal in Edmonton. Oiler fans thought they were getting a 40 goal scorer after his start and he's scored what 1 goal in his past almost 20 games. Small sample sizes can sometimes mean nothing.</div></div>
can't compare strome with neil because neil is only known as being a goal scorer and goal scoring is streaky. strome plays a solid 2 way game. strome is good on the pk and plays a solid defensive game.

the trade offered above is a huge win for the nyr. anderssons 'trade value' isn't going to go up in the AHL. even if he is a point per game player there. it'll only go up if he is recalled and produces in the NHL. looking at the rangers team now and the coach they have doesn't look promising for andersson.
i don't see the logic in trading Hajek. if your saying andersson is a better prospect or has more value then Hajek then i strongly disagree with you. Hajek been the teams best LD this season. which isn't saying a lot but it's still a lot better then what andersson offered the team.

agreed. anderssons value got to be real low rite now. Anderssons value was killed when he couldn't get off the 4th line even when they had a few guys get hurt and sick.
if i had my way i would just try to trade andersson for an early 2nd rounder. assuming quinn has no intentions on trying andersson in a top 9 role.

I've said this here in the past a few months ago, i'll say it again. i've watch almost every Ty Ronning hartford games, i go to a few games every season. he is NOT a NHL player. he doesn't make a good AHL player. the AHL game is to fast for him, i seriously doubt he ever plays 1 game in the NHL.

Kreider to Pittsburgh
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>MikeyThePensFan</b></div><div>This is probably the stupidest take I've seen in a while. Why aren't they going to make the playoffs? Have you not seen the way the Penguins have played over the past 8 games? They've been heavily outplaying their opponents every night, literally skating circles around them. They've used their speed, forechecked relentlessly and play in the offensive zone the majority of the time. Every game they have around 40 shots on net while only conceding 20-25. Yet you think a team that plays like this is not a playoff team? They're playing like the 2016 championship team. If not for poor goaltending, they would've won 8 straight games! Keep in mind this is a team that is without their top forward and defenseman. This team has played extremely well. The only thing they need is consistent goaltending.</div></div>
and fyi, " literally skating circles around them" your fandom has gotten the better of you. you can blame your goalie all you want. murray isn't bad, the team is brittle in front of him. if they stay healthy they have a shot at 7 or 8th place. it's time to be realistic with your team.

boston, nyi, florida, washington, tampa, carolina, toronto, and if montreal adds one or two small pieces they're in. philly has a outside shot. you heard it here first. it's time to rebuild for pitt. your time is over!
