I would change that condition to Rangers winning the cup in 2024 or 2025 personally.

My Top 25 Wingers Broken Down By LW and RW
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>edeangel84</b></div><div>It’s based on 2021 to current, with a bit more emphasis on this year. Konecny just hasn’t done it long enough to crack that list. By this team next season if he is still playing this well I can see him on it. Kreider had the monster 50 goal season 2 years ago but by and large he’s having his normal season right now. He’s in that next level right below these guys. Hagel is a very good shooter and I like him but not at this level. I feel bad leaving off a guy like Ehlers who’s so well rounded or a sniper like Cat but those guys just aren’t quite there. Ovi will likely be off by this time next season and the same can be said of a guy like Johnny Hockey or maybe even Kane.</div></div>
Ah it’s a greater than 1 year look. So in this case is Stamkos viewed as a center?

If based on this year, Ovi over Hagel or Kreider is a bold take. At this stage I’d go for Konecny over Kane as well. Overall, solid list.

Makes sense, he’s kept up his scoring. A 1st and mid tier pick or prospect makes sense based on prior trade deadline prices.

It’s exciting that there is solid youth to support Heddy, Sergy, Cernak and Perbix. Not to mention the other d prospects on the way. Shout out to Raddysh as well who’s been solid.

Does anyone else really like Lilleberg and Crozier? Like I’m not saying they’re going to be studs, but they seem pretty solid to me.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>This isn't logical. NTC Tarasenko might tell the Sens, I only except a trade to Rangers, so what leverage do the Sens have in trade negotiations? Not much if he one or few team he would be willing to be traded to. Also Sens have no hold on him as a UFA., certainly an extension isn't guaranteed.</div></div>
Yeah I don’t get how they think they control him after his contract expires, he’s a UFA this summer. They can hold onto him if the price isn’t right, but all bets are off in the off-season.

Not interesting from a Rangers perspective at all. Chychrun is gonna be very expensive to resign and we don’t have a ton of cap space this off-season. And I’m not paying that much for Senko, a 3rd and Joseph.

Maybe a bust for 1st overall, but this years he’s proven to be a solid 2nd line winger and has been much better than the past. At the end of the day he’s definitely an NHL player for us so overall I’m happy with how this draft turned out for us.

Chytil returns game 1 lineup
Honestly I’d be down for it. I also wouldn’t mind adding another 6th/7th defenseman for insurance in the playoffs (Seeler type). But if Chytil isn’t coming back this year, I really think we could use a 3C (Gourde type).

Definitely gonna be relying on our top 4 to average like 24 minutes a night. Thankfully Gustafsson has been solid. I’d go Seeler instead of Staal at this point.

Good luck with that rumored Willy extension. Insane to me how this is his 2nd year at a ppg or better pace in his career and he’s never hit 90 plus points and they’re gonna give him $11 mil.

Re tool get kakko back
No reason to trade away depth in Wheeler, Pitlick and Bonino. The obsession people have with Senko to waste another 1st on him is absurd. We’d be better off trying to get someone for more than just 1 year to fill the RW spot than throwing away picks each year. Kakko is coming back, but there’s no telling how he’ll play post injury. The biggest need is a 3C on this team.3C is more important than top 6 RW in my opinion.

William Nylander Trade
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>palhal</b></div><div>Just a little background. On virtually all UFA signings, I'm neutral. If the team think it fair value...making the signing, but an overpay...well maybe it's best to look elsewhere to spend the cap.
Even seven years might be too much....but I certainly wouldn't do eight years, as Nylander will. be 28 years of age after this season.
I don't know of any team that would spend 11m for Nylander (although he may be worth it) so I kinda think the Leafs would be "bidding against themselves " once you get much above 10.5m.
But if it's all amount $$$$ for Nylander and demanding top dollar, maybe he isn't the guy you really want on the team, though I can't blame a player if he goes that route.
It's like a popular girl at school you would like to date. So you ask for dinner at House of Pancakes, but she demands that you take her to the Olive Garden...cause that's why other guys take her. Well maybe she isn't for you.</div></div>
Love the analogy there. Thanks for sharing.
