Good luck with that in a pandemic and condensed schedule</div></div>
Bars above may be better than Johnsson (I doubt he’s worse) Simmonds is equivalent to engvall at this point (I prefer his game style tho) and Rodrigues is no doubt a downgrade but I’d say it’s well worth it (especially cause Kerfoot didn’t exactly wow), and Holl is nothing special either, Liljegren would be a more exciting player to see and again I doubt he’d be worse

Kerfoot engvall and Johnsson is not gutting the team it’s discarding replaceable players lol, personally I’d move Marner and upgrade the bottom 6 but this way works too (edit you could also move Holl assuming pietro wants more than 8.5)

Man I hope so, he has had flashes where he is exactly what the leafs need but then follows it up with a weak game or two, he is still young and if he works out I will be so happy but if he doesn’t they still got Sandin and Liljegren to go with Muz and Rielly in the top 4

Bad trade for both teams, Cats don’t need that abundance of stuff and the Habs do, otherwise even If they get Hall they still aren’t a contender and now have no picks

Hyman is a monster, he is worthy or 1st line no question,
Johnsson and Mik are both probably 3rd liners but Good ones so one in top 6 isn’t bad and cliff is a very good 4th liner that’s a hell of a strong weakness

1st league average has fluctuated between .910 and .915 during Andersen’s career, not gonna do the exact math but it’s probably about .9125 over his time so he is above league average not “average at best” and second..... WATCH HIM PLAY... it’s simple as that, a hockey db page isn’t all you you need to know about a player to evaluate them

I agree with your point of Anderson becomming a UFA at end of next year and think Leafs are already working on that problem and would not be surprised if they sign a Russian KHL goalie to buy time while the Leafs develope their own prospects. The other thing is that their are a number of people in the hockey world who believe Campbell can be a No.1 goalie in the NHL as he was actually drafted in the first round on the NHL draft and then played behind Quick for a couple of years.</div></div>
I think maybe bilyalov comes over at some point (just cause all the rumours this year) but I don’t think he takes the cage from Freddy Unless it’s 3-4 years down the line , freddys stats took a hit this year but I’m certain he rebounds but hopefully extends at a moderate price due to a tough year, if he wants the world tho I think he is worth it in the short term atleast

Guy pulls up Andersen’s poor stats this year and thinks he knows everything about the guy, try watching every game he has played in a maple leafs uniform like I have and then come back with a real opinion, thanks

I like the confidence, we need more leafs fans like you, a lot get slammed by too many other fans to say this stuff but it’s true, they have so many elite pieces and an amazing goalie, once they Mature figure out the fringe pieces this team is head and shoulders above the vast majority of other teams in the league right now

Pesce
People will never agree with a trade that gives the leafs a top4 D-man but I think this one is close in value, if trade Dermott elsewhere for a 2nd and a low level pick or prospect, flip that second and another 2nd with Liljegren and Johnsson (or Kappy but I’d rather Johnsson) for Pesce, now let’s compare that to a real trade, the Muzzin trade
Liljegren >1st
Johnsson > Grundstrom
2nd~Durzi
2nd (a little more cause Pesce is a little better)
That’s a damned fair trade (an overpay in fact if Pesces contract wasn’t so good) and Carolina is a perfect partner because they have an abundance of D-men

I like the idea, it’s certainly creative, you could stand to make it a bit more complex like making the left wingers be a player who wears that number instead of the number itself and maybe the math problems could be hockey related too like the square root of of Austin Matthews goal total last year

Yeah I wasn’t sure what to sign petro at, but if it’s more you can move Holl or Dermott and call up Liljegren to make another Mil+ in space, for ARZ I don’t think Hall stays but anything is possible

Eichel trade request
It’s tough to know how BUF would look at deangelo and strome, if they can be the players they were this year long term that would be great but if not they have 2 arbitration eligible RFA coming off career years, those could sink the franchise further, Kakko is obviously a big piece for BUF but is it enough... idk, intriguing offer though because it could be a huge overpay or a huge steal depending on those two contracts

Makes me think they screwed up not trading him this TDL</div></div>
Last expansion NMCs that were expiring were considered void so I assume the same will go for this one
