yeah i'm sure they do. Will cost a pretty penny to keep Barbashev I would assume. Two solid seasons back-to-back and a big impact in the playoffs this year.

Cap Casualty Thoughts
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Hague_is_a_number1_defenseman</b></div><div>lol. Not a single Vegas player you mentioned is going to get traded this offseason. Also, we don't have a log jam on the left side. Theo plays on the right with McNabb. The only guy who could be a cap casualty this offseason would be Martinez.</div></div>
i wasn't sure if any of them played opposite side but figured that could be true so honestly wasn't sure.
I don't know Lehner's status, but if he comes of LTIR that creates an issue for Vegas unless they can move him or Martinez, but I can't see anyone taking Lehner unless there is retention, and both Lehner and Martinez have M-NTCs so feel its a bit more tricky. vegas could pull up AHL depth, but assume they also want to resign Howden? Can't imagine they bring Barbashev back unless they move cap.

i think they were eyeing JVR at some point before the deadline last season so i can see us going for him

I didn’t know vegas has the space to be able to offer him 4+. Definitely interesting as that 1st isn’t necessary valuable to their win now team. Tampa can look to move it for a serviceable ld and all teams are happy.

Tampa definitely accepts but I have a hard time finding this realistic as I think it’s a little too good for us. Maybe remove the 3rd or the 1st and add a second. Definitely interesting

I hate to try and make this post about the Blackhawks during a time that the Blackhawks are a focus in the league for all the wrong reasons… but how did Seth Jones cost so much more than Jack Eichel?

Fox is great, honestly probably could have gotten more. I guess 9.5 is the number that the nhl settled on for the top end of dmen

Your point was that Futures have more Value than Actuals. Use a more realistic one
Eichel and Laf for example. Who would have to add, BUF or NYR? anyone that says BUF is laughable.

Accept. Brisson and a 1st would do it IMO. Assume Janmark for cap purposes so sure.

I'm sure you can find plenty of teams to take Carrier, but the Pens aren't one of them. The value is fair, but the Pens already will have to move players once we're completely healthy.

Hertl makes much more sense than Eichel for you guys imo.
I think thats a pretty decent package to the Sharks for a rental.

Svech is a good player and this is a decent deal. Not really that close to ALREADY being one of the best. Draisaitl only makes $750k more and the point delta over the last two years is...194 pts vs 102 pts.

Why would his agent allow him to sign for this money for 8 years?!? This would be a reasonable number for 5 years. That's a huge failure on his part.
