<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Kotkaniemi15</b></div><div>Now you’re just being a homer. You can’t say that Winnipeg is so dirty and want Pionk to be suspended more, but also want them to go easier on Spezza’s disgusting infraction. I agree with you about Pionk, but it’s extremely hypocritical to be defending Spezza while condemning Pionk and the Jets.</div></div>

Lets be honest compared to what Scheifele did against Evans, Spezza did not deserve a longer suspension than 4 games. The fact Winnipeg posted a health update 15min before the hearing started is pretty suspicious as if Pionk was potentially concussed why was he allowed to play 2 periods and why was the announcement made 2 days after the game and not Sunday night or anytime on Monday. Heck why was he not in the quiet room after the hit to test for a concussion in the first place...

IDK seems a tad odd to me. I would say appeal and let Bettman make the final say on if the # of games is fair but no way am I saying he did not deserve to be not suspended. Just think for a first time offense 6 is a tad high especially when more dangerous plays have resulted in less games and given some of the circumstances like the player falling those should have been more note worthy in the decision. As for me 4 would have been more than fair

But still as the video highlighted NHLPA will not hold refs accountable for their actions and they should showing there is a serious problem at all levels of the league.

Parros and Fehr should be gone and we start a new with a proper safety team to hold refs accountable for their stupidity
