What is the cost of the price
At very best Edmundson is worth a 3rd with 50% retained. No one would want him unless 50% is retained and wont get more than a only a 3rd.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>LPProductions</b></div><div>Fact that it is only 2 years is huge for the Kings. I think it's a really solid deal for LA</div></div>
You're right about that. The term is the biggest positive of the signing, if this had been a 5/6/7 year deal it would be absolutely crippling to the Kings future coming up. But at the end of the day Graves would have been just as good of an option that they could have signed for term and lower dollar amount.

If Gavy resigns you can say goodbye to Durzi, Blake isn't gonna make all these moves to have Gavy playing on the third pairing. That being said Durzi would be a waste to be on the third pairing so I think he'll be traded if the resigning takes place.

Obviously this is completely unrealistic. But man I would be SOOOO excited to go to games to see Hughes hit the ice and do his thing with the next line to come out with Fiala would be very exciting to watch.

Retool
Kings don't have enough cap space to do that even if they wanted to, which they wouldn't want to do. They have 7.5m in cap so even with Durzi thrown in that's only 9.2 in cap they would have to add another 1.3m in cap to the trade just to make it work. If they did all that they wouldn't have any cap to fix the obvious problems they currently have so this is an all around bad trade for the Kings.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>IDKtbh</b></div><div>I think you’re a little off on your values, boss. Arvidsson was acquired for a 2nd & 3rd round pick two years ago and it would be a little naive to expect his value to have increased since then. If anything his value has decreased in the last 2 years.
And our 3rd best defensive prospect would be the top defensive prospect on 30% of NHL teams prospect pools. Edvinsson is the #2 ranked overall prospect in the entire league and Wallinder is the 21st ranked overall prospect.</div></div>

I may have just missed him but I don't see your boy on here at all. If he isn't able to crack the top 100 I'm not saying he is bad but his value definitely isn't what you think it is.

What's your point? He might be YOUR 3rd best defensive prospect but he isn't worth a 60 point reliable winger or a 40 point versatile defensemen. Both Arvy and Durzi would sell for two 2nds each so you might be able to get one of those guys at that price but certainly not both.

Korpi isn’t the guy to get the job done</div></div>
They both played 6 games in the playoffs with almost the exact same save% and GAA. I'd say Ullmark played behind a much better defensive team as well. Ullmark allowed 25 goals in his 6 games and Korpi allowed 26 games in his 6 games. So how are they much different?

Personally I like Podkolzin but not at that price. Unless we are talking an AHL player like Anderson or MAYBE JAD then talks would quickly stop. Podkolzin MIGHT be able to make it on the 4th line at best and Grans probably wont ever make the line up on the right side but Grans has more value on the market than Podkolzin.

Which is exactly why Boston is a bad suiter for any trades with LA. If the Kings did want Ullmark, Petersen would have to be part of it and Boston would want too much to make that happen. Doesn't work for either team.

That's a tough one for the Kings, its good in the sense that it would help them now but could turn out to be bad considering Bjornfot is towards the end of his development and almost NHL ready. So idk how the Kings would decides this one. Good thinking on this one.

Kings arent trading Arvy to upgrade a mid 2nd round pick to a late 1st. If anything it will be for future assets or something that will help now. A late 1st does nothing for the Kings.

W for all teams
Absolutely zero interest in doing this for the Kings. Swapping bad goalies with the same cap hit and giving away a bottom pairing defensemen and a potential 2c or 3c youngster? If the Kings get rid of Petersen it will be to create cap space, Walker can be moved out on his own for a 4th possibly a third so this trade makes zero sense for the Kings.

As a Kings fan when the Kings traded Quick it was a tough pill to swallow however it was an understandable trade. Trading Drew for Tavares makes literally no sense at all. If we didn't have Kopi and the pizza man then it would be understandable trade, wouldn't like it but it would be understandable.
