A lot depends on our Larkin situation, Pretty sure it'll get done here. plus adding a guy like Meier should put us into a better position that a bottom 10 shouldn't be the issue. So Yzerman would probably be more inclined to move the 2024 1st obviously the 2023 is definitely a no go in a deep draft.

Yeah i like Drury better than Mitten.

Plus we made it abundantly clear that we don't need Sandin because of our LD strength in our prospect pipeline. We need RD help as our only RD are Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom.

Detroit's LD in the organization or coming up.
1 Simon Edvinsson.
2 Albert johansson.
3 William Wallinder
4 Shai Buium
5 Donavan Sebrango.
6 Jared MacIaac.

And that's just a few sample size of our current LD strength.

Unless we get a major upgrade at C I'd consider Edvinsson off the table for right now.

Not interested in dealing either Berggren or Rasmussen. Berggren is looking like a stud. he very well with top 6 minutes could rival Lucas Raymond i think he can be that good.

Bertuzzi and Zadina are fine, But i'd still want protection even on the 2024 1st especially if we do lose Larkin.

No on the 2nd trade as well.

The 3rd one might have some merit. But the 2024 1st is still top 10 protected.

And how many times do we need to lay it out, That Yzerman has no interest in Dmen shorter than 6'0" a 5'9" Hollowell would absolutely not interest Yzerman in the very least. Yzerman only drafts Dmen between 6'0" to 6'7" tall Yzerman wants to build a huge blueline in Detroit and Hollowell isn't happening. Detroit as usual passes.

You can't make conditions contingent on signings. The new CBA forbids it.

We'll be lucky if Erne gets more than a 5th or 6th round pick. he's not getting no 3rd rounder.

Erik Portillo has already told the Sabres that he plans on testing free agency. Plus a 4th rounder for Maatta is too low. We'll just keep him and resign him if that's all we get for him.
