New Look ACGM
Bit of an underpayment for Saad, guy has some legit talent, should warrant at least a roster player with those picks.

Thread:
How do we trade lucic
I wish I had a better answer, but contracts like Lucic's are basically dead cap, killer to any team that has any hope of contending over the next 4 years. Lucic, Zaitsev, Kesler, and Perry have such little positive impact on a team even without their bloated/lengthy contracts (Suter and Parise arent far behind).

Kesler LTIR
Brown has regressed the past 2 years, the hope is that he produces at a top 9 rate. Zaitsev is not a top4 D on any good team with any semblance of depth, the guy is straight up horrible. I still see the reasons for the trade, but the leafs players are overvalued. Ironically enough, the CAL trade gives up too much for an admittedly very good 2nd pairing D. I would remove Scott from the deal and maybe upgrade the pick to a third. Might just be my wanting to see more of Scott after this monster season in the WHL.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Ryminister_27</b></div><div>Do you know what you're talking about? Yes the wingers aren't as great as they could be, but that's the sacrifice that's needed to make the team better defensively. Good teams are built with strong centres that can carry teammates (yes all 3 of them can) look at always Pittsburgh did if you don't believe me, and good defence.
Also, bad wingers? Hyman and Kapanen just scored 20 goals this season on this team. Anderson has 27 goals last season on a worse Columbus offence, Bracco just tore up the AHL and shower he can produce, no doubt he's ready for NHL action soon, and Moore has shown that he's a step above the AHL from his performance with the Leafs and his current AHL playoff run (similar to how Johnsson did) and is ready for more NHL minutes.. so in a cap era where you need strong centres and strong defence to win.. that lineup is miles ahead of Edmonton. The Oilers has 1 winger score 20+ goals and that was Chiasson and only because he played with McDavid.</div></div>
The wings arent "as great as they could be" they are bad. We dont know what Kapanen is yet, that is going off a single season, Hyman and Anderson both had career years, could easily regress. Bracco's style of play is very well suited for powerplay and AHL level opponents, so he is unproven as well. Defense does improve a lot but the previous cup winners all had much more firepower on the wings (Ovechkin, Wilson and Vrana overacheiving, Kessel, Kane, Hossa) in addition to their elite centre depth. I can see where this is going but the alterations to the team are too radical.

Columbus Rebuild
The Murray trade is fine if that is what you want, but none of those RFA and UFA values are correct. Werenski should be making 7 mil, Skinner will make 8.5, Panarin will make 10, and those are the minimums they should take, other teams will prob offer the UFAs more.

Congratulations, you have taken a team gifted with offense and turned them into the Edmonton Oilers with better defense. Those wings look awful. are each of the three centres supposed to carry their lines to victory, that tends to not turn out well.

A ton of moves
Matt Duchene should not make more than 9 on a long term deal, 5 years at 8-8.5 would suffice. Colin Miller will not require that much to be moved either. The Montreal trade works for both parties.

Honestly Sweden's top talent is every bit as good as Canada and the US. Not enough credit given to them.

Fixing D for playoff push MIN
You do not want to take on that horrific Suter contract. 7.5 mil of cap space for a player who will be out of the league before his contract ends kills a teams cap space when its planning to contend.
