<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SHOWTIME_TTV</b></div><div>Understandable. I think he'd be the best fit next to Nurse other than Larsson who's also expressed not wanting to return to EDM. Nurse hasn't been the same since Larsson left. The Gudas contract would be a perfect fit but admittedly unlikely.</div></div>

he also doesn't waive for Canada like the fellas already said in here[/quote.

Not that I put Radko Gudas in my top 40 or so defensemen. But You are privileged to play in the NHL. I have no doubt he earned it with his skill, work ethic , and determination. But you have a problem with playing in Canada ? I can't imagine why . A little more media and fan scrutiny? If you play an honest game in Canada you aren't going to be criticized. Maybe you think you will be recognized, and often bothered in Canada because of a little more attention. People got it all wrong . Canadian hockey fans know some players have it in their heads that they just won't find the kind of peace they would playing in the U.S. Because of that it would surprise a great many people that we give hometown players PLENTY of space . Some American players seem to have this attitude also . Get over it . Years ago when Americans Doug Weight , and Bill Guerin played in Edmonton they absolutely loved it . And when asked about their time north of the border to this day , they have nothing but complimentary things to say ......u don't know it till u try it</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>fangm</b></div><div>Cowan should be untouchable. Top of OHL in Points per game, top 10 in +/-, top 40 in PIMs. Not a guarantee this translates to the NHL but a rare combination of skills/grit that we shouldn't move on from.

Minten will be in the lineup next year.

Also feel like the smaller wins on the team are being overlooked:
- Brodie looks like his old self playing the left. If he can maintain this then we just traded a massive liability at 1RD for a top 10 DFD at 2LD.
- Lili seems to be finding his stride again. He was great before his injury, been a bit off since but looked good with Brodie and he's over 60% on the PP replacing Rielly. Unsustainable numbers but for a guy who looked like he was on track to grow into a #2/3 earlier this year and suddenly regressed to a #5/6 after his injury this is a great sign that he could be our 2RD for the next 5+ years.
- Benoit/McCabe have incredible chemistry, exactly the pairing we've been wanting for years. Hard to play against shutdown pair.
- Holmberg, McMann both look like they should be playing in the NHL. Gives us loads of depth and the option to play around with the bottom 6 when Jarnkrok is back to make 2 effective lines.

Overall a great week for the Buds. Lots to be excited about.</div></div>

Wow ! You are argumentative, I guarantee you only watch Leafs games , you overvalue every Leaf , and probably the only thing you have to look forward to in " Bud" land is another early round exit so you can get on with your summer .
