Dons Master Plan
Ngl a rask-ullmark-swayman threesome is scary to think about. Im just not convinced about the rest of the team. Krejci would be a big add as 2C is a major hole rn. Im also not a big fan of the d. We saw the struggles last year of the top 4 being
mcavoy-grzelcyk and reilly-carlo. A big physical defensive guy-mcavoy and grzelcyk-carlo makes a lot more sense.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>xercuses</b></div><div>Damn bro I disagree these are trades that AZ would take and also where are the peanuts? Isles get rid of really bad contracts, Pens get a 30 goal scorer, Dvorak will cost alot more than you think and the wild get rid of rask, Edmonton get a good top 6 guy and bottom 6 guy and get rid of a bad contract
I think you need to look at trades that have been happening and figure out the value tbh your way off</div></div>
My bad on the minny trade, wasnt really looking at that but that one MIN accepts imo.
1-EDM. At this point broberg is still a top prospect. If you take out the 1st i could see that but as of now its a big overpay.
2-NYI. This value is really atrocious. If the cost to move ladd was 2 2nds, tell me how youre going to get a 1st and a 2nd here. Lets look at all the cap dumps that were moved this offseason.
Tyler Johnson - 3x5.
Cost to move - 1 2nd.
Shayne Gostisbehere - 2x4.5.
Cost to move - 1 2nd.
Andrew Ladd - 2x5.5.
Cost to move - 2 2nds.
So 1 year of 2.5 and 3 million (5.5 total) should cost... a 1st and a 2nd????? Max it costs 1 2nd to move both the contracts.
3-PIT. So for starters with rust and kapanen on the right side, getting kessel doesnt really seem to make sense. But if they were to go after him, kessel @3.4 doesnt get a 1st back let alone a 1st+. I dont think you understand how much 1st round picks are worth.
I dont disagree that the pieces getting moved out of ARI (outside of kessel to the pens) make a lot of sense to the other teams, but nobodys gonna pay an exorbitant price for it. The reason armstrongs been able to acquire so many picks is bc hes not trying to rip everyone off. Look at seattle, they made no trades and got f*cked bc of it. And the reason for that? It was bc they were charging outrageous prices.

1. Idk why you say thay i think he wont get a bridge considering i never said that.
2. Yes 7.5-8 million for 3 years followed by an 8 year deal at 9.5-10 million makes a lot of sense.

Everyone declines. 1sts in general arent just given out like water snd especially '22 1sts. Teams arent going to be trading them away for peanuts.

Hahaha you obviously have problems with value. Looking at the market comps this offseason, take out the 1st and its fair value in the nyi trade.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>connormchappymeal</b></div><div>Turris goes anywhere. I doubt they decline that trade. Arizona is wanting picks and to use up cap space by getting picks to take on bad contracts. They get 2 picks and gain 5 million in cap space</div></div>
Yeah but the value isnt there. And idk where youre getting 5 mil in cap space, theyre literally losing cap space bc theyre retaining and taking on koskinen. It will cost a 2nd to move koskinen. Kuemper w 1 million retained costs a lot more than a 3rd.

Ok lmao. Next year you have to pay fox, mika, and kakko and you cant move kreider or trouba bc they still have nmcs. The cap ismt moving up anytime soon most certainly not next year. Go make an acgm and see the cap crunch thats coming.

With the cap crunch next year with fox and mika you move out a ton of money and dont lose crucial pieces. You do need a RD2 to replace trouba but any opportunity to get positive value from that contract has to be taken.

Playing greene on the 2nd pair is a recipe to not make the playoffs. Hes a 7th dman not a 4th. Also trotz would hate that 3rd pair, not good defensively at all.
