I could see some of these players being signed. Have a feeling Dubas is gonna trade Petry, feels like he's really going to shake up the D and I feel that is an area of weakness Sullivan has highlighted a lot. Especially since he wanted Chychrun.

No way the Pens make that trade.. Guentzel is the best pure goal scorer they have on the team. I believe Dubas extends his contract. They also have zero LW depth after him too.

I think we need to. I know change for the sake of change is bad, but after two years of Hextall doing nothing and being very patient I feel we need an aggressive move. Something that really shakes the team up a little bit and brings some new energy to the locker room. Similar to the Kessel and Hornqvist trades, something along that line.

I understand what Ottawa is getting. Pettersson was basically useless to Pitt fans as recently as last season. Imagine what DeBrincat and Crosby would do. And Chabot. Who cares about the 14th pick. Youll be in for a yrs of pain by the time the pick produces if ever.

It does seem kinda bad on the surface but the thing it does is return two solid players who are much lower cap hits. And a 1st. It's an interesting deal.

Petry has a 15 team no trade list, Zero chance he waives for that dump.

Girard and a late 1st for Guenzel Colorado can't even afford him long term. He'll easily command at least 8x8 and probably even more. If the pens move Guentzel they'll get a better offer than that.
