No Roy involved, replaced him for Mysak and it will be fairer... But Mangiapane is another smallish forward... that we don't clearly need.

Columbus doesn't need another slow def... They have Peeke and Gubranson. Enough is enough...

And the Pittsburgh trade, well there is to many assets involved... and clearly I don't see Hughes doing salary retention on two contracts if they are not expiring after this season. We want to trade away Hoffman first... and maybe doing another type of Sean Monahan trade or being a third wheel party at the deadline.

Experience that they get at this level will help Habs to build a real culture. It will be inreresting to see which one of Kidney, Roy, Beck or Davidson will have the best career.

Kidney makes me think of Conor Garland type of player. He's the underdog.

Crazy talk maybe, i'm saying that, Boqvist is easily replaced compare to a defensive player such as Mcleod. Boqvist has maybe better possession metrics but he is not on the ice for the tougher assignments. Also, he has less shots,takeaways, blocks, hits and points than Mcleod. When you see the facts, you'll understand that change would be good in this case.

Before trading McCleod, just make sure that you have another center having success at the dot... Hugues is to bad to taking draws. I don't see it in your reclamation projects...

To me Boqvist is the one who should be traded. Not enough progression in this case. Time to let go.

Mtl has enough small players on his roster and trading the only one who is feared at the blue line isn't the solution...

Colorado likes Byram upside on the blue line. Their system is based on D mobility with Girard, Toews and Makar to... So it's a big no. The Yotes trade hum depends who they got at the draft. But it 's a lot of money involved with Petersen. Turcotte won't be enough.

Well you want to keep Goodrow, but Lafreniere has a 40 point season as a 21 years old... I imagine that Lafreniere agent will gladly ask him to accept an offer twice lower than Kotkaniemi... or even lower than Sam Bennett when he was struggling with the Flames...

Miller is underpaid also. A top 4 D like him make 4.75M$ at least.

You won't be able to sign Halak at 1.5 M$ for sure without moving a bigger contract to.

Jeannot won't sign 5 years at 2M$. He doesn't have a great season, but will fetch more than that. Short term 2M$, mid term 2.4M$, and long term 2.9 M$. But Tampa doesn't have cap space. More changes to come! The lost of Killorn hurt more than Palat departure. Nick Paul only isn't just the solution.

Samsonov isn't the solution... and Leafs won't do it.

The Jets aren't interested in Dvorak...They have Lowry who is more complete as a third line center...

The priority for the habs is trading Edmundson,Wideman, Pitlick and Armia. None of these players could bring the Habs to the next stage.

Dubois, the patience is a virtue. Wait and develop your young players to see if there a fit.. To my opiniion, it's not the time to waste a 1st round pick at this stage of a rebuild.

Ok I'm habs fan, and some people tend to judge others by their favorite team. Why? To my opinion, that Andersen deal is also to much.

And a late 1st pick is no better than Dube to be honest. It's 50 % chance that it will be a flop.

To me Andersen is a big, fast and a streaky scorer with an average hockey IQ. But he proved that he is a playoff performer and it's valuable to any team who want to be a contender.

I agree with you on one point, Carolina will add a defenseman but without paying premium picks. I see more getting Jaycob Megna from the Sharks than McAbe, Chychrun and Gavrikov. But they need also an offensive forward and a grittier player to play on the fourth line.

For the habs, Kent Hughes doesn't have to retain money on Andersen deal at all. End of discussion !
