Borowiecki trade is the most realistic trade here and to be honest, thats not saying much.


Dallas trade? You just contradicted your own explanation. Dallas who is looking like they are going to finish low this year are trading their 2nd rounder which will be almost like a 1st rounder for picks that will be much higher but more of them. Yeah sure quantity over quality but for this to work you'd have to give Ott's 2nd rounder and MTL's 3rd rounder just to move up to where Dallas is looking to be picking this year.


Sorry but this was really bad. Don't stop though. Learn from other posters and you'll get the hang of it. But yeah there is a lot here that shows you aren't too knowledgeable yet. We all started somewhere though.

No I wasn't trolling.

MacArthur is scheduled to return in January therefore his career may not be over, hence why I put in a trade instead of just terminating his contract
- Follow-up Higgins
I do understand that Higgins is a fringe-player, but there have been players who have made comebacks later in their career: Tim Thomas (but to late because he was absolute garbage after Boston), both Mario Lemieux and Saku Koivu had to take a few years off of player to battle lymphoma
I also have seen way worse signings on this site

No offence, but it looks a bit like a clusterfuck of everyone.

Where it could've improved
- McNabb on first line is a bit odd
- Like Alex said, Murray would probably be protected by then
- Chariot hasn't been played much; Gormley and him should be switched around (so Chariot gets used to playing when another defenseman gets injured
- If this were a few years ago, Luke Schenn would be a great pick, but I just don't think it fits (poor stats)
- Zach Smith on 4th line is just depressing, he's a great underrated player that should be on at least 3rd; also Bouma should be more of a 4th liner
- Picking Ryan Dzingel would probably be an improvement too.

Where you did right:
- Jurco, Reinhart, Chariot, Gormley and many others have bright futures ahead of them
- Dumba was a solid choice; but realistically it will take time for him to adapt to playing first line d
- Wingels is a perfect 2nd liner; even though he is on center
- Clutterbuck was also a solid choice; but not first liner material

Despite the flaws, this team would probably do fine in the NHL
