If I had to bet, I would bet that Kyrou gets traded eventually. You can disagree - all is well. You can also disagree who is better between him and Keller, I'm certain many NHL scouts would disagree with each other as well.

For this we would and should. I am almost willing to bet that Kyrou is traded before his NTC kicks in on July 1, 2025 at this point. Think Doug has had enough. He went from 1st line, to 2nd line, to 3rd line, to 4th line, to benched in the third against Preds the other day.

If rumors are to be believed, Ullmark was shopped hard at the draft, was almost traded and is being shopped hard right now. Swayman is the goalie moving forward for the Bruins

I think he'll re-sign Sunny, possibly even re-sign Scandella if the contract is cheap and he isn't moved at the deadline. I think Perunovich will become a UFA by default with games played, talented player, but at some point if we aren't going to move Krug we have to cut bait. I think whatever is done there's probably going to be another vet on a short term contract added to the top 9 and there will be room for a Snuggerud/Dvorsky to push for a roster spot. Don't think Alexandrov should be considered going forward as an NHL player.

The Blues current place in the standings means they are neither buyers nor sellers, so we can't expect much from them at the TDL. I would think that Alexandrov is gone and Sunny is resigned. Also, get rid of either Saad or Kapanen to be replaced by Snuggerud. Resign Perunovich and Kessel and let Scandella walk. Otherwise, who knows what hockey trades are available for Army to consider.

I think they might lose in round 1 if they play WPG.</div></div>
Interesting. There’s definitely something about Russians loving the New York area.
The Avs roster definitely has some holes to be worried about. If they fill those holes I think their core becomes the defacto favourite again. I’d take that core over the Knjghts. But at this point the knights are just the better team with less holes.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bennecon</b></div><div>I never said he’s an All star or thought u were saying he was one. But again for a team the is barley in the playoffs and will probably have to play the avs or some other really good team in the first round ( if u make it) why not go the sunny and say hey we love u and want u back in the summer but we think we can get something for u this year and trade him.
Now for value again
Kappy is a 3rd
Retaining is a late pick like a 7th
Sunny literally got traded with the same stats last year for a 4th
So a 4th and a prospect would probably be enough.
Just cause lots of team want a play the doesn’t automatically mean he goes for a 2nd. GMs aren’t dumb a 4th line centre rental is not worth that much. He’s good at the cost but the impact he makes when he’s on the ice for 12minutes is comparable to other players the teams could get for the same price.
At max he goes for a 3rd but I doubt it</div></div>
I never said he'd go for a 2nd. But if you do not understand the law of supply and demand in business, I have no idea what else to say here. A player who 10 teams want will cost more than the same player that 1-2 teams want. Obviously.
And some teams actually take care of their players, man. The Blues have given away two guys from their Stanley Cup team for nothing because they asked for moves due to lower playing time. They take care of their guys, even if it costs them a whole 4th rounder three years from now... oh yeah, your claim that he was traded for the same thing last year is false. Detroit got their pick right away, that summer. If you offered a 24 4th, that would be the same thing.

He went for a 4th round pick last season. A point-per-game rookie in the AHL and three draft picks is more than enough. No team is giving up more than that. Keep dreaming.</div></div>
See my comment directly above this. You guys really need to understand that more goes into things than just straight "value" as you perceive it. And if a flood of teams come after someone, the price goes up. That's basic economics. And anyone who roots for a team that will get so desperate it pays a 1st for washed Nick Foligno should understand all that.
Also, please let's not pretend Tverberg is some valuable prospect. The second best asset in the offer isn't any good until three drafts from now. It's not some windfall.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bennecon</b></div><div>Idk what world u live in but players like him go for at most a 3rd</div></div>
Not sure what world you live in, but you also asked for Kap with retention in this trade. I have no idea how much of that offer you figure Sunny would cost. But again, he's not going anywhere unless he asks to. Dude loves the Blues, loves STL, his lady is there, he owns his home there, and he rejected several considerably larger offers to return there for 1 x minimum. And for that minimum, he provides a lot of experience, and a lot of necessary services, and can even play up the lineup in a pinch. Which every contender will crave at the TDL. Because he makes nothing.
Just look around the AGMs here. Damn near every playoff team has 2-3 Sunny AGMs per day. Some teams have more like 8-10 a day. If he goes up, he will be among the most popular players. Again, because he offers a lot for minimum AAV. Nobody is saying he's an all-star, dude.

Sunny isn;t going anywhere unless he asks to. And if he does do that, 8-10-12 teams lap whatever portion of that offer you have set aside for him.

I know you said no retention on Schenn, but would you consider
Blues Recieve

2024 2nd (Turns to 1st if Rangers make Stanley Cup Final)

Brayden Schenn $1.5 Million Retained

Maybe. 4 1/4 years is a bit of a long retention, but it is a good return I think. The only problem is having that slot taken up could make it harder to move out D in the future. To answer your question though, yes I would entertain it.

2023 Round 1 with trades/player descriptions
Rumors ive heard:
Fantilli could drop to 3rd or 4th cause of his numbers at international tournaments being so low. I dont agree with that statement
Columbus is reportedly interested in Will smith
Sharks are more than willing to trade the 4th pick
Montreal loves Leonard
Arizona had their guy last year in Cooley, this year their guy is Reinbacher
Flyers want a defender with their pick, the guy they like is Sandin-Pelikka
Washington wants to address their top 6 during the draft, you nailed it with Dvorsky
Yzerman loves Moore, Honzek, and Willander
Vancouver wants a center
My top 15 mock:
1. Bedard
2. Fantilli
3. Smith
4. Carlsson (if the pick isnt traded)
5. Leonard
6. Reinbacher
7. ASP
8. Could be dvorsky, but i think Benson is better
9. Moore
10. Dvorsky
11. Danielson
12. Gulyayev
13. Willander
14. Perreault
15. Barlow
