Jersey declines. Doesn’t make sense for them. Subban st 50% has value and Johnsson is worth a third. No way Subban and a second

Adding Travis Zajac and Bobby Ryan to Finish Off the Roster
Devils pass. I think Zajac returned at 50% is worth a second. But.....it would take more to get him as he is Owed more respect. Unless it is a local NY team
Zajac stays a devil. Unless he requests a trade this year.

I’ll give you the third for all that. That’s it. You aren’t getting a second for that or Zacha for all that. Yet you want all three.

Good luck with that. No chance the devils do that. Even one first rounder for both of those. Even if you add a second to both of those for one pick the devils still decline. Quite easily actually.

Take note people. A whole bunch of assets worth a 3rd-7th combined doesn’t equal a first +

I don't have as much of a problem with Miles Wood. Carrick is fine as a 7d.
Risto would drive NJD fans bananas with the amount goals he would single-handedly give up. Bananas.</div></div>
I have no problem with wood or Carrick either. But they are both easily replaceable. I don’t think Ariosto is as bad as you say. Yes defensive brain farts. But so does Sevo. Big ones

I didn’t think we needed Subban either but considering what we gave up I didn’t mind.

What is the value of Gusev
That line of Gus-Zacha-Bratt was fantastic. The second half for those players is promising. We knew what Bratt could do but not the other two.
I never knew how good he was until he was placed with defensive minded players.
The same with Zacha. He was FINALLY given good offensive players and the same CONSISTENT line mates where he could develop a chemistry instead of just throwing him around the rotation.
A redraft still will not have Zacha at 6th overall. But this year we are going to see why he was drafted 6th overall. He is the kind of player you want to have on your team to win championships.

trade with TBL
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Bigboi69</b></div><div>Lol no they don’t</div></div>
Of course they do. Why would we take those players?
1. By the time we are ready to compete Gaidreau will be a UFA. We can just get him for free then if we want him.
2. Im not saying that Gaudreau positive value and Lucic negative value cancel each other out but it isn’t far off. Nobody is taking Lucic unless a first comes with it. This is like giving up two first for Gaudreau.
3. We need Young defensemen. If we are getting a forward it isn’t going to be someone who will be 29-30 years old when we are ready to compete and Can just sign anywhere else.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JRoss</b></div><div>So you’d rather spend a first on a 30 year old veteran forward who has “one” really good season over a young needed defenseman also giving up two younger players. I’ve watched MCLeod play since he was 13-14. The guy is not just speed. He is 22 and has only played 33 NHL games with limited ice time on one of the lowest scoring teams with no other offensive players. Hynes never like to give young guys opportunity. He didn’t utilize Zacha properly and was benching Bratt this year when he didn’t deserve it. The coach gets fired and virtually every player excels. Bring MCLeod up this year or trade him for another younger player in a similar situation. Not a 30 year old who will be 32-33 when we are ready to compete. Tampa needs to shed cap space. They aren’t getting a first.</div></div>

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Whalers7997</b></div><div>We have Kook, Boqvist, and other centers in the pipeline. McLeod hasn't proved anything except for his speed. Perhaps a change of scenery is best. Also adding TJ gives us a locker room presence that's been in the playoffs and RW depth. The Vancouver pick is something we can throw away. The Arizona one is not. If we draft Sanderson at 7, there is plenty of talent that will be left by the time the AZ pick comes into play (Holtz, Perfetti, Quin)</div></div>

Jersey passes. If I’m trading Palmeiri it is for high picks and or young defensemen. If I am getting a forward it isn’t labanc who will be 25 when the next season starts.
