I'm fairly certain he was injured, I wouldn't mind him one a one year prove it deal.

We shall name this staple... The Tortsatar!</div></div>
Dunn and Tatar might be the final two pieces really, just have to make the money work somehow.

If Fleury wants PIT
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JackBurton</b></div><div>I would be willing to give them exactly that package if it got them to give us Dunn. He's a gem and the Hawks would be making a mistake not picking him up now. He'd be that last piece that would turn this defense totally around.</div></div>
I do agree with you, he'd be a great add if it's the right price and he can get full time PPQB duties, something he never got before. This team needs one more D man, and maybe a 2nd line RW and it's a legitimate contender.
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>JackBurton</b></div><div>Also, side note, your avatar is still the best on this whole site. Every time someone posts something dumb and you take them down a notch for it, seeing that avatar first makes it magic.</div></div>
Thanks, this avatar is timeless really, I don't know if it'll ever get old. It's a Capfriendly staple at this point.

Yeah, but at that point, what do the hawks even have that would entice Seattle? Strome and Nylander? I'd do that to keep salary even, but that's about it.

If we could find a way to turn De Hann and some excess assets into Dunn to play with Murphy we would have a really good defense.

There aren't a ton of strengths left to Connelly's game, but the one left might be that option. I'd try it.</div></div>
more offensive upside from dzingel, I'd like to take a shot at him regaining the form he had on the sens

It’s An option for sure. Not the best but better than starting John quenneville in the “playoffs” top line

Only Nasty or Stupid Comments Please
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>YEGBRAD</b></div><div>My first hot take is no way Yams signs at that. He'll land around 2.25-2.5
Secondly you are giving Hyman waaaaaaaay too much credit. He will be an awesome addition to our top 6 no doubt and the team is undeniably better at 11am today than it was at 11pm last night but don't give Hyman credit for making Toronto's top line what it was.</div></div>
From when Edmonton played Toronto, Hyman was the best player on his line. He caused all sorts of havoc around the net and dominated the Oilers. Also, I specifically asked for nasty and stupid comments and yours is reasoned and thoughtful.

Kubalik-Toews-Saad
Hagel-Strome-Johnson
Kurashev-Gaudette-Nylander
Lindholm-Jones
Zadorov-Murphy
Jones-Mitchell
Fleury
Lankinen
This team above would compete imo. They need to add a 2nd liner with Toews and Kubalik and then trade for a top LD which will be hard
