Not a huge fan of aberg, I havent noticed him during preseason at all. Id move moore up to the 3rd line and have agostino play on the 4th

I dont hate it, but very young and inexperienced...can definitely see muzzin re-signing for the right price although i think dubas would prefer to re-sign barrie if possible

they could just run a 22 man roster and try to send martel, schenn or rutta through waivers

Carolina Hurricanes signed Anton Forsberg (1 Year / $775,000 AAV)
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>DragonRaptorHybrid</b></div><div>"too many goalies under contract" tell that to George McPhee a year ago, when Fleury, Subban, Dansk, <em>and</em> Lagacé got injured, forcing them to recall Dylan Ferguson up from the WHL on an emergency basis.</div></div>
Even with 4 injuries carolina would still have another goalie under contract to play without forsberg, also if injuries start piling up you can make a trade or sign someone; 6 goalies under contract to start the year is too much

I voted no just based on the fact that carolina have too many goalies under contract imo and they should have just not offered him a qualifying offer

So COL trades a top 4 D, starting goalie, the 4th overall pick for a top 6 F, a fringe backup goalie, the 15th overall pick and a mid round 2nd? Kinda seems like theyre just downgrading everywhere in this deal

Oilers 19-20 w Actual Defense
I think the Carolina trade is pretty good, canes get a good 4th line grinder for only moving down the draft 10-20 spots. Whether they would or wouldnt do that trade is a coin flip, but it is realistic

He doesn't make a trade with CBJ, its a different Josh Anderson, hes a D prospect for Colorado playing in the ECHL right now i believe

Team of overrated players

Almost all of these players have been getting better each year and most havent even hit their primes yet, calling them overrated is very premature. Sure some people may get carried away with thinking about what they might become once they hit their primes but most of these players havent even hit their ceilings yet in terms of potential so calling them overrated is very premature

Leafs at the deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>A_K</b></div><div>I think the Blues hold more leverage than the Sens did with EK. Other than this current distraction, its is pretty clear that Petro would get an extension and play out his career in STL like Doughty, Burns, etc. EK was gone and everyone knew it so they didnt get any huge offers.
I doubt it would be Nylander but I think the return would have to include one of Lilje or Sandin for the Blues to consider it - someone with enough upside to justify moving Petro, who we could just as easily keep as our top guy for 2+8 yrs.</div></div>
Yeah for sure! I do agree they do have more leverage, they definitely dont need to move him, and they would need to get at least 1 blue chip prospect back (liljegren or sandin) in a larger package but to suggest that nylander needs to be apart of a package for pietrangelo is kind of ridiculous in my opinion

Leafs at the deadline
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SammyT_51</b></div><div>What is so funny about that? Pietrangelo is top-10 defender in the league. He is great on both ends of ice and is solid and smart in tight defensive situations..</div></div>
I mean Karlsson only got Demelo, Tierney, Norris, Balcers, a 1st, and a 2nd (as well as 2nd if he resigns or another 1st if he is traded again to an EC team) sooooo the blues arent getting Nylander back in return or dubas should be fired...and before you say "but karlsson was an upcoming UFA" youre getting at most 1.5 years of Pietrangelo guaranteed so youd probably get a better prospect than rasanen such as bracco or you might get kapanen instead of johnsson but youre not getting nylander back in a pietrangelo deal

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Claesson4Norris</b></div><div>Would be surprised to see Sens prospect Jacob Bernard-Docker left off the team. Rookie at UND and playing 1st pairing minutes, and actually putting up offense as a defensive specialist.
Not saying he's better than all of the guys on this list, but he's very much a Coach's player, and I'd imagine he's one of the guys getting a more defensive deployment.
Should be fun to see Formenton and Comtois reunite. That line last year was fun, but they played 2nd fiddle to the Kyrou Thomas line and the Dube Batherson line. Imagine both will get Letters on the sweater.</div></div>
I thought about adding him to final cuts but didnt think enough people knew about him to make it worth adding him lol
