Moves Slafkovsky
Fantilli next year looks better than slafkovsky, a nice top 6 in the near future, fantilli-suzuki-caufield and roy-wright-x (anderson or try and get kravtsov) most of slaf's point in the tourney were against weak team too.

Step by step
80-point William Nylander: worth a cap dump, late first and alright prospect.
78-point Alex DeBrincat: absolutely untouchable.
There’s more examples. Just don’t feel like digging for them.
Timo Meier is probably one as well, though.

I see you're Habs fan.....but you've really helped the Leafs. Minnesota, Buffalo, Ottawa all say no.....Muzzin says no, and Lyubushkin doesn't sign that

Agreed. 15-45 are all in a similar boat, whereas I think Lekkerimaki would have far more intrigue to Verbeek than some wildcards. The quantity is there, but I don't think that's what Anaheim needs, IMO.

FUTURE
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>tkecanuck341</b></div><div>The cost to move up 8 spots in the 1st round is more than late second round pick. #33 overall might get it done, but probably not.</div></div>
Dallas Stars Acquire:
2021 1st round pick (WSH - #23)
2021 2nd round pick (NYR - #48)
2021 5th round pick (OTT - #138)
Trade
Detroit Red Wings Acquire:
2021 1st round pick (DAL - #15)
Moving up 8 spots cost a back end 2nd and late if comparing to closest comparable.

I don't even think the KHL would want him lol need to buy him out if he can't be moved! Only 1.6M buyout penalty for 4 years which isn't bad at all.

I want Drouin retained tbh but not for that price, we can’t destroy our bottom 6 for our top 6 like that. We better off giving you cap and some prospects

after deadline
I don't envy the response you get from AVS's fans. It's not going to be pretty lol.
As far as the Pens trade. At first glance I don't hate it, but I'm not sure. Pens fans overvalue Poulin around here and to me I'm fine moving him. We just really don't need Chiarot; he'd be a #7 dman here, but maybe... maybe lol

I think Tippett is falling out of favor, so that could be reasonable.
The other two are just miles and miles away.

look after trade deadline 2022
All look very realistic but not surprising...
in NYR I would target one of Kravtsov or Lundvist with Georgiev.
And we still need a 2C as Dvorak failed badly this season... Maybe Monahan? or UFA Hertl?

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jakethesnake97</b></div><div>They make a lot of sense but I think Caufield has to be in the minors
Pitlick was really good last game and in Minnesota this year</div></div>
i think the problem with caufield is the pressure that he has. beginning of the year was him on the first line, expected to perform like the playoffs with toffoli and suzuki, the team's two leading scorers. then it was like "WHY ISNT HE GOOD???" and he slowly went down the lineup, eventually going to the AHL. then he came back up and couldnt really crack the top 6, and it became "HE CANT EVEN GET INTO THE TOP SIX OVER JESSE YLONEN???" and more pressure came. maybe consistently on the third line, like a rookie, he can do better
and pitlick i think the only way he gets in is taking armia out, but ducharme loves armia

Hughes as GM brings home Bergeron
The other more important peice he could bring home is Letang. Our entire organization is in dire need of RHD and Letang is another current client of his and a FA as well at the end of the season. Hell he can bring them both if he wants lol.

I watch a lot of both teams and Chiarot would be the 3rd best dman behind Weegar & Ekblad
