A counter offer to JakobBickle
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>McFaksaGOAT</b></div><div>It’s likely they’ll have to move on from Risto in 2 years for expansion draft reasons, unless they wanna go 4 and 4 and do the 4dman and Benn Seguin Hintz Gurianov or something like that? They’ll likely have Robertson and Dellandrea ready by than so it’s likely they’ll move him in that summer</div></div>
True. Will Heiskanen be eligible for expansion by then? For the Sabres, the expansion being 2021 vs 2020 means Dahlin, Mittelstadt, Olofsson, Jokiharju will all need to be protected and would've been exempt in 2020.

Risto to DAL
I don't think Parise would be a bad addition at all, but 5 more years over $5M when he is 35 is a bit of a scary thought

Winnipeg fans Let me know your thoughts

Value wise it’s good, it’s just that Roslovic and Gustafsson are pretty much our only good centre prospects (besides Nikkanen) and we can’t really afford to be moving them.</div></div>
It's my understanding that Roslovic projects as more of a RW for his career, but ik what you're saying with his ability to play C. Gustafsson, I'm just a fan of him and what he could be. If another prospect could be exchanged for him as well as a pick, that could also work value-wise. I'm just getting antsy for something to happen now

Sobotka
Not sure. They could bury him through loaning him to another AHL team, or he may want to play in the KHL this year. Or they could start the year with Bogo on LTIR and Sobotka could start the year up with the team.

Haha I made no changes to the lines, just did it for the purpose of the Risto trade

Blockbuster deal with Flames
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BruinsFan35</b></div><div>I really like the general idea of this but I have two minor complaints:
1) you will have to add a little more to the Calgary trade. Maybe make the 2nd a 1st or something like that. I think it’s close but a little more from Buffalo would make it perfect.
2) play Frolík on the second line. It would give two young kids a veteran to look up to on their line and would let Reinhart play with Eichel where he did very well last year.</div></div>
I agree it's probably wishful thinking, maybe take out the 3rd I had the Flames sending back and add a prospect (Samuelsson maybe) to the Flames to sweeten the deal. I think the general idea of the trade isn't ridiculously farfetched though.
On the lineup, the reason I had Eichel + Reinhart split is because Reinhart has shown an ability to drive his own line, and I believe him driving a line with Casey can help his development and cushion him in defensive situations. Frolik I dont think can really drive a line, and Mittelstadt isn't ready to either. I definitely understand your point there though!

Blockbuster deal with Flames
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Jamiepo</b></div><div>That is a sure fire no from Calgary. Hanafin stays.</div></div>
Seems likely, but he didn't necessarily have a great first year with them. I know it's a longshot but an interesting idea
